Double Blind 1990 Bordeaux with a Big Infusion of Show Stealing Old Napa (Jason and Tracy's, Mpls, MN): Dark red color with an 8-10mm bricked margin. PNP, drank 1 glass over 30-40 minutes. I love these old Inglenook wines, this one was in particularly good condition. There's a lot of mint up front, red fruits, dried berries, leather, earth and a rose petals. Mature and integrated with fine balance and pretty red fruits, dried leaves, florals, and red plum. This had a scrumptious nose and the palate was absolutely no slouch either. Great bottle at 43 years old.

Showing quite well @ 40. Fully resolved, long & plush with nice ripe red fruit character and hints of mushroom, cellar floor. Just a touch of sour acidity on the finish the velvety texture trumps any flaws

Still vital after 38 years! Nose of oxidized dark fruit, cedar and pencil carried through to the mouth. Pretty wiine, and well matched with grilled tenderloin.

Drink on my b-day ... far from dead but not exactly a spring chicken either. Some notes of oxidation (toffee, shoe polish?, VA). The wine was light, initially, but did pick of some body and showed more fruit after a few hours. i would certainly say "drink-em if you got-em". I was pleasantly suprised that some dried fruit and interesting bottle-age characters stayed fresh after all this time.

Small taste. Really fun. Earthy. Sense of place.

Losing its fruit, but still an interesting and delicate old cabernet. Somewhat earthy, refined. balanced.

Drank well upon opening and then faded within an hour.
