Subtle nose of pineapple, mango, pear, apricot and a hint of cream cheese. Medium-bodied, nothing too impressive. Complex - yes, but I was expecting at least some excitement. A wine quick to be forgotten.

A bit ordinary, if I'm honest. New World chardonnay but done in the formerly fashionable heavy oak style. Wood on nose and wood in mouth.
Nose....wood! A bit of peaches and cream.
Taste .....again, wood! Med-dry wine. Good acid, feels mature at just 4 years old. Very settled, creamy. Just too much wood for me. Unbalanced? What, from the control-freaks at Craggy Range???? Nice almond flavour in there somewhere. Just a hint of minerals.
VFM? Not good. Will buy other CR whites again, not this one.
Needs a chill, at least in Thailand, but regardless this is leaner and more subtle than I expected. Some citrus and cashew; some class here but does lack intensity. Really wanted more out of this.

Had a glass at restaurant. Nose seemed a bit off, with a slight chemical whiff. Firstthought was that it might be a bit corked before seeing the screw cap. Plenty of citrus and some oak. Not the best Chardonnay I have had from NZ.

Pale golden colour. Subdued tropical fruits on the nose, lacking generosity. Taste is well balanced, but oak not the best integrated. Disappointing for £13.50.

Dublin Tasting (Stanleys Restaurant Saint Andrew St): (Tasted Blind): engaging nose with aromas of baked apple and raisin, enhanced by the floral, lifted nose and an undertone of vanilla. The palate is bathed in a rich and creamy texture carrying tight racy apple malic acidity and there is a hint of alcohol lightly following through. Slightly lacks some the mid-palate depth, it is bright refreshing and on point carrying an air of simplicity. Falls away subtly on the back palate. Despite this, this medium-bodied wine is clean and focussed with flavours baked apple, pear, Canteloup melon and a touch of mineral.

very pale straw, green hue. fresh, moderate style, some lemon and almond in nose. quite boring taste, lack of acidity. medium finish with toast and oak notes. disappointed considering 2013 is an exceptional vintage,

Un Chardonnay plutôt incognito. Difficile de lui trouver des défauts mais également difficile de lui trouver des qualités!

Relatively non-descript on the nose - faint whiff of minerals and sweetcorn; good richness on the palate, quite ripe and developing fast. Drink soon.

pale yellow. white peach aromas. lucious, almost alsace-gris-like. but retains some crisp acidity. minimal oak influence.
