On first taste I would have rated 89 at best. Great floral nose but otherwise not what I was hoping for. After an hour or so of air the somewhat overbearing sour orange gives way to smoke, pepper, blood orange, meat, vanilla..rosemary? Very round flavors. Maybe a little short on the finish. Next time I'll decant and just be patient! Second bottle every bit as good as the first. Perfect pairing with salmon with roasted fennel and blood orange sauce.

A little one-note with the excessive tart / tang; I couldn't marry this to the proper foodstuffs because of it. Perhaps that will mellow out with age ... unfortunately I was expecting greatness from this label & it didn't deliver today.

Really nice food wine here. Tart and tangy with fresh fruit and acids but a nice musk after being opened for a few hours. More chalk and gravel plus anise, graphite and pepper. Very enjoyable.

Vibrant ruby red. Nose: cranberries, cherries, dry grass field, currant, pepper. Mourvedre "grit" is pretty evident as is the Syrah's smoke. Palate: this is smooth juice. Invisible tannins, though a bit of dust features. Some nice savory herbs and smoke tell you there's Syrah, the cherries and orange give up the Grenache, and the spice shouts Mourvedre. This is a wine that delivers what it promises from its ingredients. Medium acidity. Finish: great finish, gets a bit dirty with cigar tobacco, tar and smoke. The fruit empties out pretty quickly safe the orange. Overall a really nice bottle for the price. Drink this now, don't wait.

Has really calmed down since my last bottle. Bright fruit, crisp, spice box, lots of flavor. Very Good.

Bright and crispy with pepper overtones. Its on the lighter side, paired well with chicken soup.

Sour cherry, boysenberry, vanilla. Peppery on the back. Some chewy tannins too. Nice
