We are happy to stay at 92 - clearly a big 92 - still a very refreshing champagne - we are getting raspberries, green apple some nectarines and clearly also citrus - you also get a clear toasted note. Medium acidity - good balance and well integrated - a fine mousse and a dense structure.

Easy to like and enjoy this. Quite big and bold, but still a wellmade Roederer in a fruit-forward style. Only so-so Qpr in a mediocre vintage, but still a safe card to play. Could improve further. (90-92 pts)

Disgorged in 2015, pnp, pink with a copper hue, fine beads. Floral nose hint of yellow and red fruits. Upfront pinot fruit, good acidity balance the light sweetness and hint of oak. Medium finish with a touch of minerality. Perfect drink in a hot summer afternoon.

Mixed Wines at Martina (Martina, Mpls): Very, very pale salmon color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. This was really quite lovely, and much more evolved than a bottle a year ago. This was all about elegance and finesse across the palate with fine subtleties. Yeast, red fruits, nectarines, delicate dry minerality with a sneaky depth. Very good 93+pts.

After having tasted this at the Roederer showcase a few months back, which had been singing in the glass after breathing in the bottle ~30min, I was excited to pour this from magnum format with friends. Enjoyed standalone and with Peking duck. Very elegant; wasn’t quite the floral fruit ‘bomb’ on the nose as was the case at the original tasting (perhaps the glassware or not enough breathing time), but very enjoyable nonetheless.

Drank this same night as the 2011. This is terrific, and edges out the very good 2011 by a little bit. Pretty, light red strawberry and cherry skin. Tart and sparkly. Dusty clay mineral, delicious swallow and finish. The biggest difference is the body. It is more full and just has a little bit "more".

Annual Tasting Group Holiday Party (I Nonni, St. Paul, MN): Pale pink color. Drank a small pour over 15 minutes. Some red fruits, peach, subtle yeast, chalky minerals and a structured palate with a sharper finish. Good, but expected a bit more. Probably needs another couple years. 90+pts.

Tested over two nights. I agree with BB that this bubbly is one for those who enjoy lots (LOTS) of fruit on nose and palate at pnp. When opened, few of us immediately noted- peach, lots of peach. It had great floral, but the palate (and to an extent, the nose), was dominated by the peach taste. Indeed, very bright, pink to pink-orange on the color. nice minerals, but the peach dominancy made us put it aside for an hour or two. Then, it reached a better balance. It was left for slow decant overnight, and the second day it preformed much better. IMHO, it is one that would be very good in few years. Personally, I think that I will let the remaining bottles rest for few years in cellar. It will be great bubbly in the 4-5 year range, but right now it is one that is slightly too strong on the fruit for my taste at PnP, and little secondary notes.
91+ (~90 night one, ~92+ night two), will be 93 in the future.

(Disgorged in 2014) Wonderful salmon pink colour and with a youthful nose showing wild strawberries, elderflower and minerals in a very indulgent way. Lovely smooth and fresh on the lighter palate, but with a very long lasting finish showing citrus and red berries in a lovely way. With some glass time it's still very youthful but shows more flowers on the nose. This is a very seductive cuvée right now filled with finesse instead of intensity! And just wonderful to drink in the afternoon sun together with grilled tuna and asparagus Best 2017-2029.

NobleRottersSydney - Single Vineyards (360 Bar & Dining, Sydney): {cork, 12%} {Gordon} Intoxicatingly lifted strawberries. Seductive in every way. The palate is medium/full-bodied, dry and dusty, but with plenty of acid too. The flavours are musk and strawberry. With tiny-sized delicate bubbles, the texture is finely lace-like; it’s also crisp, with immaculate balance, great presence, and an endless finish. Everything just works here; this is fantastic.

Lekker sak.

Warm, ripe, and fruity up front, full-bodied, with floral, white fruit, and smoky notes to back up the attack, great mousse, great finish. I would certainly drink it sooner than the 08 but it's really good stuff.

Good, easy drinking Champagne but not a lot going on here. Can easily find Cremants for less than a quarter of the price that would beat this in a blind tasting. But if you must have the Champagne label, this is a safe bet.

Disgorged Spring 2014. Salmon pink colour with the most beautiful stream of fine bubbles giving life to all the wonders of this wine! It's an explosion on the nose showing strawberries, grapefruit and youthful minerals mixed with mushrooms and bread. The palate is filled with sweet red apples and the finish reminds me of freshly squeezed blood grapefruit from Florida! Delightful already and a perfect match with butter fried fish with spring vegetables...
