Screaming white pepper and celery seed joined by melon on the palate, with lovely intensity and subtle tannin that helps the flavors cling to the palate. Brilliant!

Spectacular celery seed, cherry/strawberry, and a dash of white pepper, outstanding with food or on its own, it is showing no sign of fading. There are few wines that make me as happy as this one does.

There's a reason I buy 2 more for each I drink. The white pepper and celery seed is addictive. I think Didier may have cross-pollinated the vines with opium poppies.

So refreshing, and resolved, compared to a couple of wilder bottles drunk last year. Strawberry, together with the blood orange from back then. Another bottle tastes of tomato skin, more mineral and herbal.

Lusca with Roy Hersh (Lusca, Atlanta): Grapefruit, rocks, black pepper, great acidity, and an addictive chemical that makes ya crave it fortnightly, smartass! Lord, this is great stuff.

A nice match with Thanksgiving leftovers, though it took a couple of hours to blossom. Very peppery (black and white, not bell) and crisp, but with enough flesh to keep it from being austere and hints of celery, herbs, and red fruit make it both interesting and a little whimsical.

Very light color, but there are some solids floating in the liquid, and it looks like a whisp of smoke in the bottle. On the palate there is an interesting "spiced peach" quality, the peach is not too sweet/tropical and there is a dusting of cinnamon. I think this may be akin to the "blood orange" note in a prior tasting note. This bottle was finished in no time.

cloudy with tons of yeasty aromas... some interesting orange peel, grapefruit aromas in there... a bit too natural in style... more funky than fresh and zippy. could be a strange bottle but no spritz or other signs of secondary fermentation.

Tasted very stony and was aromatically somewhat closed at first. With time open, the wine smelled floral. Really enjoyable in its refreshing stoniness. A second bottle, drunk a few weeks later, had more of a blood orange scent and taste to it.

Herbal celery seed goodness. Staggeringly good and better with age.

Much better after time in the cellar. White pepper, acidity, quite complex

Good, but a little disjointed. Would like to try it again in six months.
