A bit of acetone on the nose, this wine is just heavy, dense, with a waterlogged sort of feel. I don’t mean to suggest dilute, quite the contrary, it’s about as full bodied as you can get with a dry white, and golden fruits remain. Still, drinking it gives me the impression of a sponge so saturated it’s beginning to leak. Lacking in cut and starting to fall apart. Drink up!

Mid pee yellow. Aroma of honeysuckle, butter, oak and light notes of dandelion. Tastes are similar with some basil added. Medium to heavy viscosity. Nice overall balance.

This wine is pale yellow color with new world nose of grocery store fruit isle with lemon and popcorn. Medium heavy weight with generous fruit, however heavy oak and acid on mid palate and finish. This is a tasty wine but is a bit over oaked for my taste. Has balance and acidity to drink well with food that has a bit of spice or strong flavor.

Tasted at Total Wine in McLean, VA on Sunday, November 15, 2015. One of the best Chardonnay's I've ever had. Huge alcohol for a white. 14.7% alcohol. 69.99

Clearly well made, but overly oaked for my taste. Just a stylistic preference.
