Been storing several bottles in 55 degree cellar for past 2-1/2 years after purchasing direct f winery. Bright and clear, still dry and tannic upon 1st opening. Decanted 3 hrs prior to serving w prime rib roast. Opened up w tasty fruit and Went beautifully w meat, creamy horse radish. Made basic red wine sauce made w same wine. Going to sit on remaining bottles for another year, or 2 or 3. Acid in wine balances nicely w the fat in prime rib.

4 hour decant. Deep maroon color. Dark savory nose of tobacco and olive. Some plum, blackberry and vanilla as well. Smooth brooding palate, but not much depth. Medium short finish with soft tannins.

PNP. It's surprisingly good. Punching far above its weight. Dense dark fruit and chocolate. Smooth. Impressed

Holding up nicely since my last sample in '16. Smooth, cherry, oak, and leather.

Better than I remember. Well-balanced, good fruit and dryness, quite appealing.

From the winery. Big and concentrated, slightly muddled, steely and overbearing. Needs a few more years to better unfurl. 90+

Vinturi'd and decanted, pleasant cherry nose, taste of cedar and leather, well structured and should last for a number of years to come

tasted at vineyard, balanced old/new world, modest acid and tannins, layered with medium long finish
