More acidity than I typically find in Viognier and I like that. Baked apple, peach, honey, and melon flavors with a citrus factor coming in on the finish. Very well made.

A very nice wine. With an oily and heavy texture that is pleasant because it is offset by good acidity. There is honey, apple, pear and citrus on the nose and palate.

PnP. A good expression of WA viognier, but too New World-like. Had this alongside the Jaffurs Bien Nacido Vnyd viognier '14, which was much more expressive -- both nose and palate (see TN). This wine's nose was muted, but showed some white flowers and peach, which followed nicely on the palate, along with some lemon. The wine was most notable for its medium+ weight and creamy mouthfeel -- in fact, it was a bit "fat". Should hold for another year or two.

Fantastic. It's been a while since I've had a Viognier with such complexity; there's a different nuance at every turn. That said, the alcohol is perhaps a bit noticeable (but not all the time, at least for me), and the first bottle we opened was the most horribly corked bottle of wine I've yet encountered.

Robust, savory nose with mix of kiwi and salt; on the palate thick with marzipan, honey, yellow apples, some acidity towards the end, good texture and length.

Loving this wine. On the tail of having a rose from Charles Smith, I have to say I am more and more impressed with his non-red wines. This one has a tremendous body. Silky and smooth with a long finish, it features honey, hay and guava in equal proportions. All with no tartness.

We've been drinking tons of WA State wines but this is our first Viognier from there. Rich and creamy on the palette. Featuring overtones of peach and honey dew melon. Could definitely pick up on the oak however it was well integrated and served to compliment the fruit, not overpower it.
Very different than the Viogniers we tasted in Sonoma last summer. Most of those were lighter and had more mineral and citrus notes. This one was medium full bodied and reminded me a little of a well made Chardonnay. Very enjoyable and glad to have another bottle in the cellar.

This is a really nice example of the difference of Walla Walla Viognier compared to CA versions. It has a fruity flavor that gives it almost a sweetness, but I still think the RS is zero. Went over very well with my crowd.

100% Viognier from Art Den Hoed and Wallula Ranch in Yakima Valley. Peaches and apricot lead to a full body of voluptuous texture with just enough acidity to keep it all together. This wine is all about pleasure and hedonistic delight. Smith wrote “balanced in the mouth with a minerally finish so long you’ll need binoculars to see the end.” What can we add to that?? http://www.advinetures.ca/blog/charles-smith-wines-k-vintners-tasting-room

Nice and silky with good weight on the palate. Some wood balanced out by nice acidity and fruit flavors. My wife like it a lot.

fantastic vionier. Nice acidity, good fruit, lemon zest, medium/long finish for a viognier. Plenty of life left, at least for another 6-12 months.
