This is still drinking well. Not a lot of structure, but nose is still pleasant and it goes down easily. Great QPR and hanging in. Last bottle, so can't see how much longer it will last.

Intense color. An over-the-top grenache-syrah blend from the Languedoc with a good pedigree. A bit reduced in the nose with intense flavors and a 15% alcohol finish. Strictly for lovers of this style of wine that emphasizes intensity over finesse.

Although not from Rhone, one of our favorite reliably good Rhone blends that pairs with food exceedingly well. This vintage is probably best consumed by end of year or early next. It is pretty much at pop and pour stage.

This is drinking really well right now and probably can go another year or two.....I was a bit surprised. I think of this as an easy drinking table or house wine!

One of the most reliably good Rhone blends year after year, and at a price of $17-18, great wine for the price. Good depth of dark fruit, well-balanced, fruit tends to make it a little more robust than medium-bodied, but it is smooth and elegant, but in no way thin. DRINK NOW status (although we decanted which made it sing). Think it is Grenache and Syrah blend, maybe other Rhone grapes, but year-to-year it is a great under $20 Rhone blend...even though its is from Languedoc, not Rhone area.

Wonderful wine for the price. I only found one bottle at my local Costco. well balanced with fruit and tannin. Beautiful color and smell. Can't expect more for the price $16.

Excellent complexity for the price point. Has all the feel of Languedoc in a drink now sort of fashion. Briar and hint of the sea with soft tannins and delicate fruit (especially for the Grenache).

Lots of red and dark fruits. A little black pepper and a mineral streak. Good acidity and balanced tannins. Went well with seasoned pork chops and risotto.

60% Grenache from 70-75 years old vines, 40% Syrah 40 years old vines. Color is towards dark red. Nose with fruits, kirsch, some plums. Also spicies like cloves or cinnamon. On the palate same fruit structure with kirsch and plums. Its concentrated but also juicy and not heavy. Liked it very much

Popped and poured at cellar temp. This opened pretty quickly. Nice value wine. Versatile. Not going to wow you, but will go nicely with that pizza on a Tuesday.
FWIW, didn't really impress me as it got air/came to room temp. Probably drank best shortly after it was pulled.

A delicious wine for the first cool evening of late summer/early fall. Tight initially, but opened up beautifully after 30-40 minutes. Big berry fruit with some earthiness and acidity.

55% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 10% Carignan; dark garnet core, some clarity, thin garnet rim; macerated cherries and berries, tea, some herbs, some higher toned notes of almost orange, smoked meat, not as deep as I was expecting; medium plus body, soft tannin, alcohol shows a bit, plum and darker cherry and berries just shy of being jammy, lots of sunshine here; like this vintage less than previous.

Tight and tannic initially. Not much fruit. Then, if you decant it for at least 1 hour, it begins to soften and open up. Became very drinkable after 90 minutes. Just make sure you decant it and don't drink for at least 1 hour.
