  • the fruit is subdued but persistently apricott. Lots of almond with a bit of cedar and oak. Paired beautifully with salmon.

  • This was killer. Blend of vitovska, malvasia bianca, glera, furmint, sauvignon blanc, and pinot grigio. Beautiful orange color, looking like apricot nectar in the glass. Medium+ body, acid, and finish, with loads of complexity and aromas and flavors of honey, beeswax, white flowers, honeysuckle, roses, peaches, nectarines, red apple, raspberry, fresh herbs, and minerals. The honey and herbs really jumped out in a most interesting and appreciated way. I will age my other one to see what happens, but this was rocking tonight. Showed its best after a short decant, without food (my pairing of pea ravioli wasn't optimal, as I pulled this not remembering exactly what it was), and closer to room temp but still with a slight chill. One of the pro reviews suggesting to pair this with pork chops and apples is prob. a good call.
