After three years the wine hasn't changed much from the first note, Blended with a fruit forward nebbiola 50/50 to get a drinkable balance. I will see what tonight brings, more age maybe needed to mellow the tannin and acid. Thin and dry, loganberry sourness, tannic and astringent, strong finish. After 5 days the wine has not lost any of the harshness.

Spectacularly good for $12.99 + 3 years in the cellar. Aromas of violets, black tea, char and plums. Still fairly drying on the tongue, so it must have been a challenge in its youth. Now meaty and plummy flavors, with silky, well-integrated tannins and a cedar note in the finish. That meatiness is delicious, like rare steak. Have no idea what others are talking about. This was nebbiolo at its affordable best.

Immediately upon opening, this was quite promising - bright, tasty red fruits with a nice tannin backbone and good acidity. However within about 20 minutes it closed up completely, never to re-emerge. The next day it was completely flat/closed, just an acidic drink with plenty of tannins and little to no fruit.
