Medium body elegant style cab. Dark red and prune fruit, mild tannins, medium acidity. Great depth and complexity. I think this needs to be drunk now and in the next couple years, as it is softening up and starting to lose a little of its verve.

An elegant cab. At age 8, it seems in its prime, but I will see how it develops with my other bottles. Prunes, raisins, a mild anise. No noticeable oak detected. Nice medium acidity, refined tannins. Nothing deeply complex, just great balance for a Napa cab. Worth 85 bucks? On the fence on that but definitely very enjoyable.

After a day of opening, the fruit started to come out. This is a bottle you can lay down for 3-7 years. I am not saying it is not drinkable today, but you can really get the potential in that time line.

MW Institute Sit Down Tasting 2012/2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Panel, nose of rich briar and rich earth, and blackberry pie, same on the palate, more open, more structured, bigger body, and more intense than the 2012, long finish. Genevieve Janssens present.

Very good, noticeably softened at age ten. Prune and red fruit, a little anise, medium acidity, velvet tannins.

Drinking fabulously well now. Deep dark dense plum, cigar box, earth all in balance. Delicious, elegant, complex.

Tight on the first night, showed much better on day 2. Hold for another 2 - 4 years.

very nice, but not drinking as well as the 2014 vintage; typical of 2013, this will need some time to develop

Tasted it at the Winery. Excellent! Liked it more than the Reserve from the To Kalon Vineyard.

Institute of Masters of Wine - 2012-13 Cabernet Sit-Down tasting (Hyatt, San Francisco): Lots of clove and baking spice from oak. Has good fruit, but a bit spiced right now. Christmas. Elevated acid, high tannins.
Around 8.5-9
