Maybe the perfect drinking age where the bouquet is still powerful with a velvet finish on the tongue. Enjoy it now if you have it...about to eat some fillets with it to celebrate.

Very similar to my last bottle in April. Well made, earthy cab with dusty tannins. Held up well over two days (best on second day). Some mocha notes. Nice QPR at auction pricing.

91 Points. Full-bodied, dry, spicy, savory, & slightly-unbalanced wine which took 2-3 hours in the glass/decanter to open up & soften the tannins enough to be approachable. However, even after 6+ hours of decanting, the tannins still dominated the earthy taste profile, obscuring most of the fruit flavors evident in the nose and providing only hints of cassis & blackberries. Medium-long finish. Overall this is a decent big Cab that is tasty, but which lacks finesse and whose dark fruit flavors are overshadowed by its tannins. Properly stored, I believe the ideal drinking window for this wine will be between 2025 & 2030.

This had all the "purples" covered. Smelled like grapes and violets. Medium body, not terribly complex but tasty. I was eating pizza, which may not have been the best pairing to get the nuances of the wine. But it feels like it's a "drink now" sort of thing.

Definitely needed a couple of hours to blossom. This is a really good mid-week cab. Plush dark fruit with good underlying structure. Pleasant finish. Definitely worth the $35 it costs to buy on WineBid these days. Not memorable buy enjoyable.

Delicious cabernet - far more complex than the Liparita Oakville offering from the same vintage. This wine is in a great place and feels like it could stay there for a decade or more. Excellent value as well.

Lots of blue in the color moves it away from red. Very little fruit on entry—some blueberry, some cassis. Maybe I would describe it as dried fruit—plum—without sweetness. More savoriness than I normally get in CS. Tannins are quite stiff.

Decanted this 3 hours and drank over another hour and a half. This was ruby in color. This is a full bodied wine with structure and tannins to still lay down for a while and improve with age. While this is well made the flavor profile is not in my wheelhouse.

Full throttle, fruit forward, big, structured Napa Cab. Tons of dark, blackberry, plum like fruit with notes of chocolate and cassis. This is still very young with big tannins but after an hour +, silky smooth. This has lots of life in it.

Star-bright ruby with no evidence of fading at the rim. Nose and palate are quite fruit forward and primary right now and more hedonistic than I generally care for. Blackberries, creme de cassis, lingonberries, and blueberry jam dominated with spicy toasted oak and fiery cinnamon capping a long finish that to me was a touch hot. Despite its ripeness and hedonistic qualities the wine did have structure with decent acidity and fine grain tannins giving balance to a wine that would have otherwise been cloying and fatiguing to the palate. Im going to wait at least another 5-7 years before trying the next bottle. The fruit quality is certainly there and the wine is well made, but you definitely have to appreciate this style of winemaking to enjoy it at the present time.

This one has everything I look for in a Napa Cab and the nice thing is that it doesn't happen to cost a small fortune. Notes of black fruit, tons of dark chocolate, and some baking spices on the finish. Great structure and balance. Full bodied without being over the top. Really good stuff and I will try to snag a few more bottles of this before it disappears from the shelves.

Subtlety and elegance give nice character to this Yountville. The tannins are silky and the strawberry jam finish is extra long. Earth and eucalyptus are driving forces. Eucalyptus and Boysenberry jam are key flavors.

Gorgeous... as the "Pure Napa Valley Wine" label suggests; this represents Napa's opportunity for great fruit and delivers the real deal (at a young age) with deep dark hues in the glass, luscious dark fruits on the nose, which is mirrored on the palate with dense black currant, boysenberry/blueberry, dark chocolate, and a touch of eucalyptus. All is framed by seamlessly integrated silky sweet tannins, acidity, and alcohol allowing for a long succulent finish. We opened this along with 3 other brands... sadly they were forgotten as this wine was the favorite and quickly disappeared. Find some while you still can!

Deep ruby in color, this wine delivers a nice load of Napa hedonism. Black currants, anise, fig, vanilla and bittersweet chocolate adorn both the nose and palate. Medium-to-full-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (14.9%) and with plentiful sweet tannins, it retains a silky mouth texture through the dense middle and lengthy finish. With soft textures and beautiful purity of fruit, this is a wine that is hard not to like. Drink now-2025.

The stuffing is in there but needs time. A little harsh in the opening but a very nice and long finish. Will wait a couple of years for my next bottles.

A little variation from bottle to bottle, but still excellent. Def drink now - at least judging by those we had today.

Surprisingly very primary even at approaching 10 years. Very easy drinker with limited tannins, if tasted blind would have guessed Merlot.
