PnP. No detailed notes. Hard to rate. Not very complex. (You won’t talk about it for a hour with fellow wine geeks.) But is delicious. Simple cherry, with a touch of spice, and a smooth, long finish.

Even immediately after decanting, the dark fruit shows expressively and there is good depth with excellent balance. Tannins extremely well integrated and unobvious. Very nice indeed. By now it has aged 8 years; no loss of fruit, no excess astringency, no signs of age. This one may have been under-rated.

It smells like tobacco and tea. The body is medium. It tastes like blackberry, red currant and cherry. The wine looks ruby colored. The wine has round texture.

Pinots and Salmon (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Dark red color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. Cinnamon and ripe berry nose, volatile. The palate seems extracted, red berry, ripe, sharp and volatile on the palate, firm tannins, heat, spice and vanila. This was rather disjointed right now. Maybe time will help it.. if not, this is it. 87ish.

It has been three years since we tried a bottle. It was even better than 2015. It was a nice deep red with black cherry, blueberry and blackberry on a strong nose. It seemed to have a little more body than I remembered last time. It still had a good balance of acid and tannin with a nice finish. We served it along with a Sea Smoke.

Second time having this wine. The first time, 2.5 years ago, I was disappointed. It has come around and is a solid pinot. I don't think it will ever live up to the initial professional score it was given but it is a decent wine from a strong vintage.

Raspberry, tart cranberry, rhubarb, pine. Medium body and acidity. Medium-plus finish. Tannins are pretty well integrated now. Went well with mustard-maple crusted salmon.

Went through three phases of balance in an hour, like watching a slow-mo, forrest-fruit floral gymnastics routine, the final phase the mellowest, suggesting drink -2021.

Dark cherries, forest floor, pine needles, Asian five spice, cola, tea. Medium body. Medium-plus acidity. Tannins still present. Medium-long finish. While it's in its drinking window, I think it will be at least a year or more before it peaks. I had it on its own but I think it would go well well with gamey meats or mushrooms.

Very good Pinot, especially for the price. Bought it more for my wife when she wanted something lighter. Nice finish and I think that it will get better.

No sediment. Translucent ruby. Dark cherry, cranberry, cola, and tea. Medium body. Medium-plus acidity. Light, fine tannins. Very nice right now, but still could use another year to come together.

On the ripe and modern side of Oregon Pinot Noir. I needs a year or two to come together, but even now it delivers delicious fruitiness, cola, herbal teas, and a touch of earth. The acid is medium plus, the mouthfeel supple, and the finish substantive. Hold until 2018 and drink through 2022-2024. 91-92.

Cornerstone's 2012 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is generously styled, with a perfumy and overtly expressive nose of rose petals and anise inlaid by roasted strawberry, black cherry and blackberries. On the palate, its got depth, dimension and power to spare. Fine, dusty tannins and medium acidity frame out supple black and red fruit that gracefully tapirs to a lengthy finish. Really lovely, and perhaps more reminiscent of cool climate California Pinot Noir than Oregon. 14.3% ABV Sample

After reading other notes I expected an unappealing fruit bomb but I didn't find that to be the case. This is a nice medium bodied PN with blackberry fruit profile, with a touch more fruit than the Bing cherry PNs on the market

Tasted at Brooks Pinot Envy 2015. This is a really nice bottle of Pinot. Dark color with black cherry and blueberry on a strong nose. Medium body with a good balance of acid and tannin. Really nice finish.

Disappointed, especially for the price. Dark cherries and earth on nose and palate. Lacked complexity and depth, though it was very well balanced. Shared with an Oregon Pinot loving friend and he felt the same.

PnP and drank over two hours. No detailed notes. A classic Oregon Pinot. Maybe a touch sweeter than typical. Nice favor, but not complex.

Clean, stony nose. Light fruit--cherry, plum, etc. Firm, structured, but tannins smoothed out. Hints of cedar and herbal/mint elements.

Really showing its dark, ripe side tonight. Consistency of a water bed. Blind, two people assumed that what was in their glass was not a pinot.

Very unimpressive. I Generally find that willamette pinot's can rival burgundies. This one tried to rival a big Sonoma Zinfandel.
