  • Another excellent bottle of this; classic Vosne nose with spice and red fruits, really no earthy/secondary notes yet; very good density for the level and a long lingering finish with spiced tea and cherry. Would buy more of this and frankly, based on my experience this has been just as good as the Grivot Brulees of the same vintage!

  • Popped and poured. Showing very well right off the bat and gaining complexity the more it sits in the glass. Very agreeable wine. Quite dark in color for red Burgundy, looks totally ruby until you turn it sideways where more rust color appears. Bright cherry fruit needs no coaxing; it jumps from the glass and keeps growing and expanding. Slightly smoky, spicy component emerging (in a good way). Really nice in the mouth. The cherry fruit makes your mouth water, and it has a lovely complex soil component. A wine that is light on its feet but really delivers in the flavor department. Only wish I had more, as this was a bargain at $70 back in 2017 when I bought it. This is fine. 5-12-17-9: 93/100.

  • Drank my other bottles too early. No decant but opened an hour before dinner. Nose is intoxicating. You KNOW this will be amazing. Cherry, strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb with cinnamon & spice. Dark color typical of VR. Wine if full and extracted. Premier Cru Quality for sure for a Villages wine. Should have bought a case of this. One of the best Villages wines I’ve had. I can imagine it can improve for the next few years. This is excellent.

  • Definitely needed several hours of air to show itself. Notes from Eagren1 from 2020 apply.

  • Aired for 4 hours in decanter prior to serving. Enticing aromas of red berries on the nose. Cinnamon and Asian spice. Some mature notes of mushroom and forest floor. Good concentration, elegant and silky, good acidity, fine grained tannins. Quite slim and linear. Just a little touch of green, which for my part is not particularly daunting. Focused and tight finish that lasts long.

  • Darker Vosne color. Decanted two hours. Spicy nose and Vosne spice on the palate. Some earth and dirt and some flavor layers but for sure more simp,e. After all it is a “Villages” Wine so you would expect it not to be as extracted as a 1er Cru or certainly not a Grand Cru. For the price the QPR is great. Nice balance and acidity. Red fruits mostly and quite enjoyable considering 2013 was not a stellar vintage. Would I buy more? Yes.

  • Recently just had the 12 of the same wine. Really lovely with power and finesse in good balance.

Unfortunately this bottle is just shut down tonight. Not much nose and after an hour in the glass, shaved wood, dried berries, with a little cosmetic spice peeking. Will save half of bottle for tomorrow.

  • This was excellent for a village level from a less than stellar vintage. Lovely red berry fruit and loads of classic Vosne spice. Some floral notes as well. The palate has great concentration with velvety smooth tannins. Very impressive for the level.

  • Sexyspice!
Fullt åpen med vakker krydret frukt.
Jeg digger duften av Burgund 2013.
Fresh and fruity med fine tanniner og en god lengde.
Ikke sikker på om denne noen gang lukker ned.
    Nydelig vin. 92p+

  • Wonderful nose of delicate warm luscious red fruit, intense milk caramel and overtones of juniper and smoke. Perfectly layered. This young vintage is drinking so nicely already with ripe concentrated fruit and balanced acidity on the palate.

Fine tanniner.
    Digg.
