Still garnet in the glass - evocative notes of mint/eucalyptus and black cherries on the nose (still at cellar temp). Supple fruit (dark fruit) on the palate with some grippy ripe tannins still - however, very smooth on the palate and it has a long fruit filled and mint finish. As it warms up - showing beautiful blackcurrant leaf and ripe fruit on the palate - this is absolutely in it's window. I would say on the plateau but can definitely hold for for another 3 or so years at this level

Just opened a bottle, it has not softened out but initial taste shows plenty tannin and intensity. It still needs to open up but it was a surprise to read those reviews saying it had faded . . . nope it is still alive. Hours later still tough and intense, a wine to spend time with. Not even close to opulent, perhaps a man's wine if you know what I mean. It is (was) tough and intense, maybe not as "ripe" as the perfect shiraz but yeah, a solid 90.

This is too old. It's Shiraz but the fruit is fading and lacks complexity. It is medium in the mouth, feels like it's leaning out from age and the finish is clipped. Now.

Purchased a case of this on closeout for $3 per bottle. Great deal. Deep red color. This full bodied wine was loaded with cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla notes. Dark fruit notes on the finish. Lush texture without being over the top. 90-91 points.

This is an easy drinking and smooth wine. Nice fruit, but tasted a bit sweet which was off-putting. Also it lacked grip on the finish which left only the sweetness on the finish. Nothing special, which was disappointing because I really enjoyed a previous vintage (2000).

Color: Deep ruby red.. Aroma: fruit... Tasting notes: Raspberries and chocolate. I have been fortunate enough to taste some great Syrah from Australia and this is not one of them!

deep ruby red colour; incredible bouquet of dark berries; mellow yet spicy flavour; and a soft finish that forces you to take another sip. excellent QPR. drinking beautifully right now.

Deep purple; great varietal character, extracted, sweet black fruit, celery, toasty oak; on the palate still a bit hard and closed but with unmistakeable richness, structured and concentrated; long. Impressive, not very subtle, but who would complain? Drink 2006-2015.

This didn't show well at all. Dried out and over the hill. Down the drain.

Ok. Still young. Like many australian wines IMO, a bit too much, and a bit too sweet, but ok.
