From a warm-weather Superstorm Sandy vintage. Medium ruby color. Aromatic, violets on the nose. Rich, thick, full-bodied. On the palate, plums, blue/black berries, olives, a little chocolate. Soft tannins, medium acidity, medium (+) finish. Larger than usual Long Island Merlot. Give it some air and enjoy!

Earthy, musky, just ok. Enjoyed at Riverhead Aquarium Fish and Sips Wine tasting. Great time!
