Me 95, she 97. A monster Syrah, just HUGE and mouth-filling. Certainly not for those who like finesse, and best with robust or spicy meals, the bigger the better. Decant for 45 minutes.

Awesome. Inky purple in color. Poured the whole bottle through an Ullo filter. This was the first time I have done that. It did not alter the flavor but there was noticeably less bite on the back palate. Not sure if this qualifies as manipulation of the wine but I had several glasses and felt great the next morning when I got up at 5am. Intense and interesting peppery Syrah flavors. Great wine.

Needs time. Needs a LOT of time. Needs a vitamix. Or at least a decanter. This one pours like oil. Violet color. Purple and black fruits abound. Nutty, lavender, pie spice, hint of cinnamon. Finishes with stiff tannin. Will be best on day two. 95 points east, possibly higher in a few years. I think prime drinking for this is 2022.

Dense and focused. Dark inky red. Glass training. Takes a while to open up. Lots of fruit, combined with licorice, stone, blood in fully balance. Not quite mature yet.

Dark black and blue fruits, chocolate, ripe raspberry and blackberry, sweet cooking spices, vanilla, firm mouth-coating tannins that build from the mid palate to beginning finish, this has incredible length with flavors that keep changing as it finishes. The nose seems like it has a bit of paprika on it, this is insanely good! I almost gave this 100 but the nose is not massively expressive at this young age. Drink well not out of the bottle as a PnP but will easily last 3-5 years.

Dark, inky purple. Very smooth, with obvious oak on the nose. Thyme as well, and a rich palette of blackberry and boysenberry. Maybe showing a little more heat than I'd like.

big blackberry and blueberry notes with solid minerality and finishing with some dried herb. Integrated and polished to the core.

15.2% ABV. Best Syrah I've had in a long time. Great on day 1, 2 and 3 out of the bottle.
