Drank with RP for early Thanksgiving. Should be good for another year. Powerful PN loaded with red fruit and rhubarb. Long finish. PnP in light of its age.

Might be on the downhill side of the curve but it is still remarkable and has one of the longest finishes I have ever had with a Pinot. Still some dark fruit on the nose and on the front palate. Followed by cola/black cherry/maybe a a bit of cocoa. Holding on but don’t wait too long to drink this gem.

Dark. The oak is very prominent in the nose and palate. Dark cherry fruit in a lighter (but not light) body than yesterday's Coastal Vineyard 2012. Concentrated and persistent with a great wash of acidity.

Evolving better than I thought it would. Still cherries on the nose but getting some cool savory notes now too. Acidity is good and the finish is smooth and full of red fruit. Drinkable now but I'm thinking this can go longer than originally thought.

Blind wine tasting of 7 California Pinot Noirs ranging from $5 to $90. This wine was voted 3rd best by the group of ten. This was also 3rd in my own ranking. Somewhat disappointed given this was the most expensive wine of the tasting.

Popped and poured. Dark color. Good cherries and something a bit fatter. Integrated but not much in way secondaries yet. More enjoyable, smooth after about 2 hrs. In a good windows and will drink well for a couple more years.

On the darker side of Pinot. Bright cherries on the nose. Mild acidity, which leads me to believe that this won't age too long. I'd say it has another few years. Easy drinking now.
Clear, medium ruby/red color. Youthful moderate/aromatic nose. Dry, medium body with fresh acidity and low tannins. Good balanced, moderate flavor short finish.
Overall 3-/5
Price $90 Abv 13.6

Drank at Mercato with wine group. After about an hour it opened up and was peaking. Ripe fruit and full bodied with smooth tannins.

We enjoyed the bottle before this much better. It was Luella’s but don’t remember the year.

Enjoyed this more than last bottle. With chicken roasted on green egg and roasted sprouts. Really drinking well...
