Between the vanilla and citrus flavors of this wine, it was a delight to drink. Consumed with chicken, rice, red peppers, cucumber, green onions, tuna, avocado wrapped into sushi rolls (not all ingredients were in every roll). Chilled quickly, it was refreshing to drink but could have been colder. Another solid Mondavi. Purchased two bottles and I will try the second on a different day/night.
On a side note: On this Veterans Day, thank you to all those who have fought and served in the US Military. God bless you all and thank you from the fullness of my heart, and to you I empty my glass in appreciation.

A little cleaner and less manipulated than I remember from previous offerings. By no means a great Chardonnay, but relatively competent. Mild golden color. The nose has molasses, butter, yeast mango and honey. Medium bodied. Some mint, sassafras leaf and ginger with the peach, pear, Apple and honeydew on the palate. Might be a bit short on the acid, and a touch weak on the mid palate. Some lingering bitterness with the nectarine on the finish.

Fine Chardonnay. Something of gooseberry, currant, lemon, little green apple. Later a bit of leather or bread. Even a touch of banana and mango. Minimum of mineral on the tongue.

About as insipid and flavorless as the Edna Valley from last nite. Very bitter and sharp on the finish. Don't waste you money if you're looking for decent Chardonnay; this way underperforms, even at $8 per bottle!

Excellent bottle. Pears. Apples. Drank in a picnic setting. Refreshing and easy to drink. Would absolutely purchase additional bottles in the future.

Robe jaune légèrement doré.
Nez boisé très présent, beurre, brioche, banane, fruit blanc, vanille
Sec, frais, texture grasse, belle finale
Bois trop présent. Légère douceur.
Cher pour ce que c'est.
