Quite nice and will be even better with another few years of age. Fresh strawberries on the nose. Still quite a bit of acidity. Brownish / crimson color.

Very lovely new school Barolo. Darker in color than normal and heavier fruit. Still with air this opened up nicely. I think it could have benefited from another year or two in bottle. A very approachable Serralunga with a bit of air.

Amber in color. Lighter than I expected it to be. Tobacco nose with oak, wood, stewed fruit and subtle leather. A nice wine to be sure, but I still would never had guessed it to be a Barolo. Flavors of blackberries, leather, moss with a dry finish. Went nicely with grilled fish.

36 months in barrique. THat kinda shows on the nose but it is the best of the set so far. With grip, not all that open yet, still seems a bit simple for me.

The nose showed bright cherry, sweet herbs and tobacco. On the palate, I found bright, pure red fruits with hints of spice. It finished with a tug of youthful tannin, yet remained fresh and easy to like.

Barolo and Friends (Det Norske Teater, Oslo): Ap: dark purple red Ar: young clean Nebbiolo nose with good intensity. Full bodied and good balance, some serrelunga tuff tannins, but rather drinkable at this stage Good length

Young Barolo from a classic vintage with good potential. Will be interesting to retry this in 5 years time.

Enjoyed it, can definitely drink now but another 5-12 years this will be incredible. Friends all enjoyed this as well.

Such a great Barolo, though so much lighter in body as one would expect. Dark brownish red. Wonderful aromas reminiscent of a great Bordeaux.
