A year has treated this wine well as it opened up nicely after a few hours -- overnight would still probably be better. Rich with the PS adding depth and backbone to the wine. Liked this almost as much as the much more expensive Kata but the Kata has a little more of everything.

Double decanted. Consistent with prior notes. This is dark as night. Little tough to penetrate. Left a glass out overnight, and it was drinking better the next morning. Need some patience here, but a very nice wine.

Agree with others. Very tight. Interesting blend. Love Kata cabs but not sure about this one. Unlikely to buy this unique blend again. It did get better with air or maybe I was buzzed.

Interesting blend of 59% Petite Sirah and 41% Cab Sauv. It's still kind of tight right now. Dark in color and still a little primary. That said, my colleagues at our holiday party really favored this over the other bottles that I brought to dinner.

Oops. Originally posted this note incorrectly for Bourn. Well made with quality materials but too young for me. Opening night was too tight and closed- the fruit felt like it was under a layer of plastic wrap. By third day, the fruit showed up. Petite Sirah leads the way here. Lots of structure and spiciness.

Deep dark purple. Aroma of grapes, oak and vanilla. Blueberry, wood, earth flavors. More acid than astringent. A medium body that Megan suggests goes well with food and alone. I agree. Will cellar and try again in a year.

Similar to previous note, smoothing out and maybe thinking a bit too..

Wow. Followed 2007 Kongsgaard Syrah. Lovely. Glad I have a few more.

Slow ox for 5 hours. Drank over 2.5 hours.
Cool stuff. Dark as night. Deep, perfumed nose. Fairly heavy on the palate. Long finish, with some oak and tannin. Better with food.
Overall thought this was just too early for this wine, but I couldn't resist seeing what it was all about. Should be fun in a few years.
