Hit this with Coravin a couple times and both seemed pretty flat and uninteresting, just shades of cran-raspberry and not much else, so finally decanted the balance and hoo-boy something was way off. Smelled and tasted like a paint can so had to dump it, one of the more unusual results and suspect it had oxidized ruining what was left.

Medium ruby. Strawberries, black cherries, caramel nose. Medium bodied. Well balanced. Similar views to last year overall, probably needs drinking up in the next year or so.

Was slight worried when I read the comments - not too sure if I was drinking the same wine! PnP. Wonderfully fragrant nose of red almost black currants with heady spice but a notable whiff of alcohol that others' have noted. Lovely ruby red colour with evident legs. Rich and velvety with medicinal note giving way to spice and more currant and a touch of sweet cherry. Perhaps at the end of primary phase as there's no evident secondary PN flavours - yet. Would not rush out and buy again but nice peek into Oregan PNs. And for the price still way cheaper than even a standard bourgogne. So relative to a French counterpart good value.

Transparent ruby with a nose of cherry and forest floor. Smooth and round with rich tastes of cherries and a hint of tart strawberries. Good structure, solid throughout, decent length on the finish. Thea’s selection often out performs and is a great value at the price point.

Nice aromas of blueberries, plums, spice and mineral hints. Its elegant medium bodied silky blue fruits palate has lovely depth, nice acidity and a longish finish. 13.5%. Needs a couple of hours aeration. Lay down 2-3 years.

Tasted at The Wine Society tasting of USA wines, held in London, UK. Bright cherry red colour. Less fruit on the nose, perhaps a hint of violets and strawberries, but definitely showing leather and spice. Full, rich, long and plenty of berry fruits and cranberries on the palate, slightly buttery. Very good overall.

Tasted blind at Bacchus. Dark ruby, nose of vanilla, red and black cherry, white coffee, pickled veg, farmyard too. The flavours are red and black cherry, some fruit compote, plum and mouthwatering. Richness and structure, good wine.

Looking at some of the comments and ratings I must have gotten a bad bottle. Very shallow, no distinguishable notes of any kind, almost if it was made with some sort of sugar substitute.

I love the clarity and color in the glass, its so bright, a beautiful clear ruby. You can even see your fingers under the glass, a good start to a PN. Its medium(-) body, and raspberry, vanilla, white pepper, and you'll think I'm nuts but a watermelon rind as a lighter green note, plus a hint of earthy loam. Mouthfeel, very light and yet good fruit, more of the same from the nose yet pronounced here are the raspberry and I am getting a cola that I did not get on the nose. Peppery spice, slightly tart, nothing green, nice medium(+) acidity, medium and soft tannin giving a nice grip on the back. The finish carries well, I get some mocha (intermingled with cola) there and its making me want more yet struggle to take my time. I like lighter bodies Pinots like this (relatively for new world as a preface), they have a nice elegance. This bottle is going to get better, and I'm going to find more.

Very good Pinot good balance and nice notes of ripe dark fruit. Medium bodied with modest tannins did not improve from decanting. Very light sediment. Too weak to pair with food stronger than seafood, best consumed on its own where it would truly shine. Average finish leaves more to be desired.

Still a little young. Nice and fruity with enough structure on the back end of the palate to keep it from fading away too early. That being said, I think the tastes will integrate better over the next couple years. Thankfully I have a couple more bottles to figure out if I’m right.

Born in the USA (The Great Hall, One Great George Street, Westminster): Ooh, a little more serious than the six vineyards. Though still fruit forward it's quite savoury. Dark hued fruit, plain chocolate, perhaps slightly stalky? Toasted oak. Hmm, much of a muchness on the palate. Perhaps a little to rich as it seems to lack a touch of acidity. Hmm

Trying this for the second time after Coravin-ing a glass a month or so ago. It fell short of expectations both times. The nose is arguably its best feature, with raspberry, white pepper, and garden-grown lettuce. The flavors follow with an added mocha note, but are somewhat thin and astringent. My opinion is more in line with WE than WS. Not a bad glass of wine by any means, but in such a strong vintage for OR, it's not hard to find better options.

An easy drinking medium bodied O-noir with just enough lift and bright fruit to make it both food friendly as well as cocktails on the back porch friendly. A hint of oak/smoke drifts across the back palate that ends cleanly and neat without a lot of long trailing finish to make you think again. When its down its gone. OK nothing wrong with that at the price point.
BUT, to score in the big league fellas you need (from the back forward.....) something resembling a finish, a greater depth of character on the attack and mid-palate, and a mouth feel that doesn't resemble mouth wash. Sorry but O-noirs can/are much better than this so for those of you slavering 90+++ ratings, pleeze, try a few more so you can begin to calibrate your scores against more serious offerings.
Not that its bad to like this wine, its very gulpable. Not just great.

Restaurant purchase @ Watergate Hotel - Kingbird Rest, DC to accompany entrees of Maryland Blue Crab, Veal Ragout, & their Crispy Sweetbreads. Wine was suggested by their knowledgeable Sommelier and complemented our diverse dishes. Served at room temperature. ($65 vs $29 avg retail, 13.5% abv). Wine is crafted from fruit sourced from seven Lemelson estate vineyards spanning three Willamette Valley AVAs.
Clear ruby red color in glass. Nose of Cherries with floral notes. Wine is medium-bodied, and very complex for a Pinot, developing over time after opening with flavors of red fruit, pomegranate and hints of spice. Bright, smooth, and well-rounded with a just enough tannin that does not overpower the fruit. Nicely-balanced acidity that allows for a pleasant, medium finish.
Exquisite choice from Oregon's Willamette Valley by the Sommelier. Highly recommended. I will definitely seek out this label again.

The blueberry and cherry perfume is inflected with oak, pastille, and sandalwood tones. Long and broad, there's structure and heft on the full bodied palate. It becomes brighter and high-toned with air, allowing it to show its sense of place. Picks up youthful tannin on the graceful finish. Lovely.

Great wine and unbelievable QPR... Fresh, rich, complex, what not to like in this 2014 Pinot. One of the best below $30 Oregon pinot I ever had. Can rival much more expensive Pinot from Oregon and Burgundy. Never heard of the producer before but really great bottle, which opened up after one hour or so.

Lemelson's 2014 Thea's Selection Pinot Noir has that powdery cherry, cola, and earthy profile that typifies Willamette Valley Pinots, but there's a heft to the frame that sets it apart from others. It presents nice acidity with balanced tannins on a very long finish, perfect for pairing with cedar plank salmon or steak. Get a couple of these beauties to have now and for mid-term cellaring.

Tons of fruit on the nose with a hint of cola and forest floor. Very good acidity on the palette with mild fine tannins. A little bigger than I would like , leaning toward Cali style but still Willamette at its core. Bottle age would do this well , like to revisit in a few years , still young and tight at the moment.
