Deep dark burgundy red. Notes of cassis, ripe figs, bing cherries, pencil shavings and cedar. Very nice layers of black cherries, cassis, figs and mint. Great QPR. Enjoyable wine.

Opened for cooking, then took a sip. Terrible. Disjointed and harsh while still being very "thin". Almost poured it out, but decided to leave it open in bottle to try later. Three and a half hours later - what a change! Had now become a very nice, round and smooth light Cab that was a pleasant afternoon drink. Open this one early and give it some air if you're planning on drinking it soon. I'd recommend drinking this by itself or with some light snack-type fare. Agree with others that this is a good QPR wine.

The nose is not very expressive. The layers of fruit are expressive and enjoyable. Layers of blueberries, figs, mint, toast and pepper. This is an outstanding QPR wine. Outstanding value for the quality.

Deep red in colour, with no obvious browning on the rim, quite viscous and youthful in appearance. Toasty pepper on nose. Taste obviously minty/gum leaf, underpinned by berry flavours. Great palate length, strong through all phases, long finish. Tasted 6 years after vintage, and should be good for a further 4-5 years at least!

Deep purple red, with slight fading at the edges. Nose filled with sweet and jammy berry fruit notes. There is a big flavour explosion on the front of the palate, and initial fruit-driven sweetness is gradually surpassed strengthening tannis through the mid-palate, and on to a lingering finish with herbal notes. Really well balanced, lush rather than elegant, and drinking super-well at five years of age.

Very decent bottle of vino, especially at $15 a bottle. Drank it over two days. Flavors of smoky cassis, nutmeg, and a hint of Chilean terroir with herbal eucalyptus. It is not complex, but rather clean and balanced, with resolved tannins and integrated acidity that deliver classic Cabernet fruit on a tasty mid weight palate and and a medium finish. I would buy again if I can find it.

X-Dry. Med- acidity. Med tannins. Med+ body. Med finish.
14.5% abv. Deep garnet red, ruby hues. Muted nose of dark berries, green peppers/jalapeno, spice, wood, hint of smoke. Palate is medium bodied with smooth tannins and flavours of red berries, black plum, spices and minerality. Finish lingers.
This wine was quiet on the nose but packed more of a punch on the palate. Ripe but other flavours and elements keep it nicely balanced and not seemingly jammy. Excellent qpr.

14.5% abv. Deep garnet red, ruby hues. Slow medium tears. Nose of chinese salted dried plums?, green peppers/jalapeno, spice, wood, hint of smoke. Palate is medium bodied with smooth tannins and flavours of black plum, spices. Finish lingers.
Tasted with a stuffy nose, can't give a score but palate seemed balanced and this is ready to drink.

Kept this wine open for 2 weeks. Dark to the edge. Strong and classic Cabernet flavors of black currant and blackberry. Enters the mouth smoothly textured and yet dry and tannic. Overall, one of the best and most ageworthy $15 Cabs I have had.

Far better on the second day than the first day opened. Opaque with an inch pour, with a black plum aroma, and a smooth mouth entry. The sip has an excellent balance of tannin, acid, and fruit, and adds blackberry, black cherry, and cedar. The finish is smooth, long, and dry at the end. Avoids the chief flaw of thinness that bedevils wines from Chile and Argentina in the $15 range, and other flaws, including a candy sweetness, rustic tannin, or vegetable taste. Overall, a delicious wine with good concentration. However, contrary to Suckling's 94 point review, this wine is not competitive with top Napa Cabs, nor is it even the best Cab from South America purchasable for $20 or less. One Cab from Chile that rightly deserves such high praise is the Viu Manent La Capilla in their Single Vineyard series.

This was a pleasant surprise at this price. The nose isn't very expressive, but the pallet makes up for it. Nice layers of bing cherries, dried figs and toast. Very short finish and not a lot of depth, but at this price it's just fine.

Light nose, easy drinking, well balanced basic cabernet with mild tannins. Simple and lacking complexity but a very good QPR and enjoyable. A bit of a pleasant surprise.

Bold flavors of dark fruit, led by blackberry and plum, supported with vanilla, cocoa and old forest floor. Full finish with nice tannins.
