Lots of fruit v acid for a Chablis, a bit flabby, needs more acid and terroir, drank easily, light to medium bodied, drank with shrimp with pasta, probably won’t drink again.

{diam, 12.5%} Fat. Not buttery, but has rich pineapple and melon flavours. Seemingly a smidgin of oak, but it's more texture than flavour. Medium acidity, but the wine is quite fullish-bodied, with almost a touch of fruit sweetness. A crisp, flinty wine it ain't. Plenty of front- and mid-palate presence. Quite tropical. Shortish finish, dry, but generous. Doubt it'll keep, but OK otherwise.

{diam5, 12.5%| Mid yellow. Fairly restrained nose of broad yellow-melon fruit, little oak apparent. The palate does have a little sandalwood oak character, a touch of buttery richness, and a slightly tropical character to the flavours; rockmelon with a hint of apple. It's almost medium-bodied, the impression of relative heft emphasised by rather low acidity. Dry, but with a generous texture, and a short-medium length finish. Fair. Might hold a few years but will get flabbier I think. Better to drink sooner.

Ripe apple, lemon peel, spice and limestone on the nose and palate. Medium to long, dry finish. Well balanced. A pretty Chablis and good value. Served with crab chowder.

Doftar gröna ängar och lätt citrusbris med gröna äppleskal.
Smakar gröna kartiga äpplen. Kantigt och inte så snyggt. Blir bättre med två timmars luft och 11-12 grader istället för tio. Tillkommer viss rund smörighet i bakgrunden. Kanske mer lite fett än smör. Fortfarande gröna äppeltoner
85 med svagt plus för ev någon utveckling inom två-tre år.

Medium minus nose shows green apple, green pear, hint of mushroom, lemon curd. Palate shows fuller bodied style for the region, dried lemon, lime zest, green apple, dried pineapple, round acidity and full finish. Nice value.

The 2015 Brocard St. Claire does not have the clarity or cutting edge minerality of the 2014. There is plenty of fruit but it is rather nondescript. I very much enjoy Brocard St. Claire but this one is very slightly disappointing. Still a good buy for Chablis, but not as compelling as before.

The wine looks yellow colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit and pear. It tastes like grapefruit, apple, peach and mineral. The body is medium. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

HHI Wine Guild Tasted against two other White Burgundies. Light in color hints of citrus, flinty and mineral on the nose. Acidic but not enough to detract. Detecting "ocean" flavors on the nose. Nice light wine. Should pair well with food.

A(ccuracy)=2: Bright lemon. Mild, unassertive varietal nose. You B(alance)=2: Need perhaps bit more acidity for vibrancy. C(omplexity)=2: Tree fruits, minerality without exaggeration. D(epth)=1: Supple with average length and finish.

Medium body, pale straw color with greenish tints. Elegant stone fruits, citrus and flowers aroma. Ripe apples and lime palate, long mineral finish. Light, fresh and crisp, complex and well balanced, lovely acidity. Food friendly, wide specter of matches from fish, poultry and fresh salads to onion soup with brie cheeses. Need time to bring up full mineral taste, open half hour in advance. Serve 12º - 14º. Drink now and next four years.

Organic, biodynamic, 100% Chardonnay aged in stainless steel. Winemaker said 1 in 6 Chablis were damaged by hail, but don't know if he meant this particular vintage.

It's okay. A bargain at the price, but don't expect top-flight Chablis.
