Couple of wines at Park90: Very tight and a little disjointed on opening, took about an hour to open up. A rounder style with a green apple note, but plenty of stuffing and acidity still. Was glorious for 15 minute period where everything came into balance before hibernating into its shell. More complexity than the Leflaive but not as pleasurable now.

From Jero. Young? Perhaps, but showing forward rich and mineral-inflected fruit already. Intense floral, citrus and mineral aromas. Kept getting better and better over the evening, which is one of the many benefits of the large format.

Domaine Bernard Moreau Cellar Visit and Tasting (Chassagne-Montrachet): Tasting at the domaine. Floral and rich apple aromas and flavors with lemon peel throughout. Very nicely concentrated and very mineral-driven power on finish. Very good 91-93 point potential, but this will need a few years in the cellar.

Tuesday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Remoissenet, Bernard Moreau, Pousse d'Or, Comte Liger-Belair (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Another recent addition to the Moreau lineup via swap. Very floral nose with ripe apple on nose and palate with very good concentration. Highlight here is the surprisingly (for a Caillerets) the flavors over the textures.
