Vigorous bead. Lovely nose of lemon curd and basil. Lots of fresh brioche on the rich palate, lemons, apples. Crisp acidity, very nice balance. Finishes moderately long with notes of lemon zest. 100% Pinot Meunier. 11.7% ABV. Became a little heavier on the plate with the second glass.

Dibbs's birthday: 100% Meunier, zero dosage and only 340 bottles produced. Predominantly green apples on the nose that reminded me of Bereche. The oak use gave some heft to the wine that balanced the elegant fruit well (which also brought me to 2013 as a guess for the vintage). Very.well-proportioned champagne with nothing out of place, made in an oxidative style but not overly so. Under 12% alcohol.

No dosage - Bright, tart apples, minerals - clean with a lasting finish. did not notice the oak. Surprised that this is 100% Meunier a real treat worth seeking out

Opened by Mark who bought this in Epernay. Not imported into the US. 100% old vine Pinot Meunier from a single steeply sloped Vineyard in Barzy-Sur-Marne in the far Western Marne Valley. Made by a husband and wife team who have managed vineyards in Champagne for 20 years and started this winery in 2012. Oak aged for 10 months. 650 bottles. Zero dosage. Very fresh. Tons of Granny Smith apples with anise and citrus. Not oaky at all. Exuberant bead. 92 points

SLDS September 2017: Extra Brut. Lemon, earth, melon, floral, musk and orange peel. Plenty of texture and flavour intensity with good acidity perking the wine right up. Good depth as well even with the freshness from its youth. Very nice.
