Strawberry and orange rind flavors with a tart finish. The acidity is high and pokes out. On pop and pour this was was light bodied and not terribly interesting, but it fleshed out nicely with air, gaining weight, complexity and interest. Still, this is highly stylized and it will undoubtedly be a polariing for many. Recommend a minimum 1 hour decant.

Drinking beautifully now with a nose that is fully expressed and with a lot of sunny pinot fruit, at the darker side of the fruit spectrum. Really great with a pappardelle with smoked center cut bacon, grilled shiitake mushrooms, chopped parsley, spring onions, fennel and a sauce made of white wine, chicken stock, creme fraîche, garlic and a little fresh habanero as well as lime juice and grated pecorino.

wanted a bit more from this. I like the high toned aromatics. Orange and mint come across clearly. The mid palate lacked some depth and the finish was a bit astringent, rendering the total package slightly out of balance.

Elegant floral and red fruit is accented with a bit of citrus and dusty underbrush. On the palate it’s all raspberry fruit with finishing orange zest and a hint of mint from the bright acidity. This is fresh and lively.

Soft and supple, this is showing great finesse for such a young wine. Cranberry and strawberry fruit are buffered by fresh acidity and light earth and herb tones. There is plenty of depth for at least mid-term cellaring, though I wish there was a little bit of tannic structure to give the wine a bit more gravitas.

Still a restrained style, even if this is bolder than the typical Wind Gap. Very nice pinot.

It is fantastic with food that need a lighter touch in the wine. Perfect with roasted salmon, mushroom pizza/pasta.

Easy, light, touch of good acid and tartness on finish. Drinking well. Bags of fruit.

Dark and heavy after an Oregon PN
Attractive and easy drinking
Edit. After two days, became a beguiling blend of floral delicacy and red fruit intensity.
Reminder for other Windgap PN: open day before

Attractive strawberry with a hint of barnyard
Acidity is cherry, moderate tannins, fruit hitting front of palate

Lovely wine, BIG strawberry on nose and palette. Not overly complex, but enjoyable.
