Light and transparent color. Very developed aromas with notes of wet wool. Soft and seemless on the palate, with low concentration. Either a bad bottle or the wine is on its way down.

Opened for 1.5 hours. Color is light ruby and not very opaque. On the nose: Strawberry, cherry and a bit of Dr. Pepper. On the palate: Strawberry and sour cherry with some florals (soft violets). Length just long enough not be be short. Very nice acidity. This is a food wine. Good effort.

Nearly 2 years after the prior: Pale ruby, transparent at the edges. The recent notes below, especially by DougLee, describe it well. To that we will add, this continues to have a pleasant savory strawberry aspect. A nice touch of white ground pepper. Beautifully balanced, with good acidity. Quite enjoyable over three nights.

Light to medium ruby in color. Nose of fresh cut berry, violets, stone, iodine. Crisp red raspberry fruit cut with plum, bits of iron, and saline on the palate. Refreshing acidity and moderated tannin. Moderately long finish of plum, earth, and subtle grip. Very good. Brought back memories of our trip to France.
One of three bottles consumed at Christmas family celebration. Ruby color. Nose of cherry pits, violets, raspberry, stoniness. Layers of exuberant but precise raspberry and dark cherry fruit on the palate with some spiciness and cinnamon added in to add depth. Fresh acidity and smoothed tannin leading to moderately long finish of crisp red and black fruit cut with iodine, grip, and stone. A great match with grilled salmon.

Our third in the past year, with similar notes: pale ruby. Pleasantly tart/ savory strawberry and white pepper. Decently lingering finish. Quite enjoyable over three nights.

PnP from 375ml at Petit Crenn. I know this is 2015, but the Cali-candy-like flavors (from the Loire, of all places) are not to my liking. Mid body, mid+ acid, 12.5% (seems like more). Obnoxious triple retail+ pricing.
Tasted blind. Almost transparent. Lots of strawberry and red currant and a touch of citrus and butterscotch on the nose. Very fruity and young. Sweet juicy taste with zingy acidity and very fine subdued tannin. Had it down as gamay or grenache at first and then ended on an uncertain decision of Pinot. Very light bodied and refreshing. Drink young.

Opened on our return from the Loire Valley. Lighter ruby color. Nose of fresh berry, violets, stone. Light bodied and pure on the palate with lovely intensity, yielding layers of black raspberry, mulberry, Bing cherry, stone, and iodine. Copious acidity and fine grained tannin. Long finish of dark berry, stone, and grip.

Light ruby hue. Nose of cherry blossom, plum, iodine, and raspberry. Light-bodied and pure on the palate with raspberry and cherry fruit cut with schist and acidic spine. Fine grained tannin. Moderately long finish of crisp red fruit and mineral. Excellent.

Very pale. Char and strawberry. Light weight, soil-filled and delicate red berry fruit that is ripe but not sweet. Quite expansive in the mouth for its weight. Crisp acidity, lingering finish. Lovely Loire Pinot for now and the next 3 years or so.

Pale ruby. This struck us as quite Burgundian, with a nice touch of white pepper. Lovely on day one; even better, and showing some development, on the second.

more smoky, earthy, and peppery notes than i previously appreciated, otherwise remains uber quffable with bright fruit flavors and excellent light bodied balance.

I loved it. A nice elegant yet complex wine. Raspberry, flowers, forrest floor, nice acidity. Flavors kept coming and got darker as the bottle was open.

one of the prettier wines I’ve seen. translucent ruby with a sanguine core and bright pink reflections. nose of cranberry, wet roses, and vanilla. light and lively. predominantly savory with cherry skins, cranberry, orange, and stone on the palate. good long finish. strong effort.

As I drank this, I kept thinking "Rhône meets Jura". Very pale with brownish tinge. At first, all soil, but then pretty much a 50/50 mix of soil and light red fruit on the nose. This defines delicacy on the palate, yet it has real impact and authority given its gently sweet strawberry, a squeeze of orange, a bit of green, and then clay and sand that you both feel and taste from beginning to end. No artifice and no wood, simply terroir-driven, Old World Pinot. Maybe modest in its aspirations but very special at the same time. Chapeau!

short note - redcurrant, kirch, finish is very seductive with sweet red berries, some smoke/flint, some floral notes, structured, quite complex, long finish, outstanding, 92p

Terroir driven nose with plenty of red fruits. Tons of acidity and a bit of pepper on the palette. Gets better with air time. Great example of Pinot from the Loire. Gonna let the others age for awhile

Really lovely. Almost transparent. Beguiling combination of lightness and intensity. Like first of the season strawberries--sharp yet sweet on the finish. Nice with various summer salads. No doubt this will add some depth and complexity with a year or three in bottle.

Relatively dark-coloured for a pinot noir and easy to drink given that Sancerre pint noirs are sometimes angular and vegetal. This was very nice.
