PnP Split 375ml bottle during the holidays 2023. Still drinking well and has aged well. Not too complex on the nose or palette but quite enjoyable with plenty of black and blue ripe fruit and full bodied easy drinking. Will go well with charcuterie and burgers. Great QPR and surprised how well it's held up.

Black currants, chocolate, and pastille, wreathed in a structured, full-bodied frame. Shows gentle spice character that builds towards a tasty note of Tootsie Roll pop candy on the back end.

Dark red fruit, cherry. Tending towards ripe flavors, juicy mouthfeel. More full bodied, with some acidity for lift. Bit of dry tannins and somewhat hot on the finish. The pieces are there, just disjointed. Fine weekday wine, at an affordable price. 55/22/18/5 Cab Sauv/Merlot/PetitV/Malbec

90: Stunning for the price. Smooth, almost creamy texture. Slightly astringent but it only serves to balance the overall effect. Big fruit. Beautiful ruby color.

This is a well balanced and high quality Paso Robles red. Hot, black fruit and some spice. Large producer with attention to detail and quality. Think of them as the Chateau Ste Michelle of Paso.

Unusually attractive meritage blend. Strong mouthfeel of black fruit and slight oak. Crowd pleaser... dinner of 10 picked this above other $40 - 60 wines I brought to show off. Personally, I pay $45 to each year to try to get a similarly flavored meritage. Bargain at <30, available for much less if you scrounge.

Good QPR. Has a tarry note that is a little unpleasant and doesn’t ease with decanting, but there’s good intensity and fruit too. In the end it’s better than an everyday red for an everyday price.

Fine $12 Bordeaux blend from Paso Robles. Mid-dark ruby; herbaceous, cocoa, mint and cedar nose (55% Cabernet Sauvignon; 22 Merlot, 18 Petit Verdot, 5 Malbec); mid-body; balanced; soft tannins; good fruity; long smooth finish. w/appetizers, pizza, pasta, meatloaf.

P: LM, poss Med, body; NICE, almost swtish frt counterbalanced by tangy acidity which pretty much runs through the fairly LONG, tangy/swt (70:30) finish. Drink through '19. My VG-, very likely MORE given the QPR of this vendor's $11.99, which is ~ $3 < than the next nearest wine-searcher price!
