Cork looked surprisingly young. Medium garnet color with a rust hue. Cherry/raspberry nose with earth notes. Well balanced wine with cherry initial flavors followed by light oak and nice finish. Drinking well now but no rush. A pleasure to drink.

I pretty much buy these to take to parties, and they never fail to excite people. This one was no exception. Don't know what to say, except that it smelled and tasted like a Pride Cabernet Franc, which is high praise in my book. It is, however, probably time to drink up.

Took to a party (as did another Pride lover), so no detailed notes. Like always, people went nuts over it (them). Like always, pretty damned tasty. Holding up well.

Amazing at 6 years on vintage. Fresh, deep garnet-purple, with stunning typicity of aromas and flavors, yet still lush and perfectly balanced. Could be my desert island red. Super-long finish.

2 of 3 blending grapes of the evening. Started out after a 2 hour decant. Continued to get better as the night went on. This wine was less on the attack, but had a very lengthy tasty finish. Highly enjoyable.

Very pleasant wine. Needs decanting as it was full of sediment. I decanted for about 2 hours and had it with a nice steak. Surprised at how well it was drinking and how much sediment there was.

Part of a Flag Day Cabernet Franc dinner. 5 Cab Francs, all popped and poured, with the first one open for about 25 minutes and the last about 50 minutes before pouring.
I have had this before, and actually liked it better last time. Still a very nice wine. A big mouthfeel, and a lot of "grip" to it. Floral notes and some black berry fruit.

Had this at a dinner of Pride Mountain wines and it was the WOTN. Much deeper/richer/fuller than most Cab Francs I have had. Reminds me of St. Emillion's Le Dome. The actual blend (as per WA) is 79% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot.. Other wines of the night included 2009 Merlot and Cab Sauv. This was distinct from the others and had a lot of depth of flavor.

HIHGLY RECOMMEND. THOSE AT DINNER FELT IT WAS AS GOOD AS THE SAXUM WE HAD AND THEIR WINE IS TOP NOTCH EVERYTIME IF YOU CAN GET IT. AS I KEEP TRADING UP PRIDE STAYS ON MY WANT LIST. SMOOTH AND DELIGHTFUL

Really hit the mark, subjectively, for what I was hoping for tonight. Relatively aromatic on the nose. On the palate, medium to medium heavy in body. Balanced but noticeable oak. Overall...relatively big for a Cab Franc - but smooth.

Pnp'ed after running through a Vinturi. Clearly much too young to do this, but wanted the wine with dinner. Expect it will open up a lot more with some time and look forward to seeing the evolution (might even save a bit for a next day review). Lots of deep black fruits, strong tannins and yet still relatively smooth. Can taste a touch of cedar in here and maybe some graphite. Nice wine - very well done and pretty good QPR.

Nearly opaque garnet and purple, good bit of sediment. Dark fruit, cassis, oaky notes and an herbal note (clove?) on the nose. Dark jammy fruit with a spicy peppery kick and tightly wound tannins fighting with angular acidity. Vigorous decanting for an hour calmed it a bit, letting the fruit come out along with less harsh spice notes. Fruit, tannins and acidity balance a bit better in hour two. This needs some more time in the bottle, at which point it might get more of a 90+ score from me, but until then...

Great nose with long legs just slowing oozing down the sides of the glasses. Deep ruby color with well developed fruits and tannins. An absolute pleasure to drink. Wish I had a couple of cases of this one. A really full bodied wine for a Cabernet Franc.

Really lovely wine big aromas, big on the palate, long legs, great dusty finish. I visited Pride several years ago and I was really impressed with all their wines except the Cab Franc. I continually passed on them when I was offered them by the winery but last year I decided to try a few and I am really impressed they made a believer out of everyone in the family, the wife, the sons and my daughter.

Deep garnet. Nose was of a regular Cab Sauvignon-not the floral nose I usually get from Pride Cab franc. Taste was also like a Cab Sau. Good but not like under Foley.

Aromas right away of oak and dark fruit with further essences of some clove and maybe citrus. Moderate weight and complexity on the palate with some present dusty tannins. Moderate finish.
