Started out a bit pedestrian but got way better with air and really reached a great apex after a couple hours open. Slightly beat out the Rose next to it.

I didn't jot down the disgorge date but I believe it was May 2016. This is my final bottle of Mousse Special Club in my cellar, actually my final Special Club bottle of any kind. I just dislike these bottles because I cannot store them so I have been working to drink them all, I am finally done. As for the wine, this is aging nicely. 10 years old, maybe a little bronze and a touch of oxidation but balanced well with good energy and flavor. If you have this vintage, no rush to drink these.

My favorite of the three Moussé Fils bottles we opened. Moderately oxidative: less than the NV, much more than the 2014 SC saignée. Some brioche and earthy mushroom notes, explosive watermelon starburst candy. I love it.

What can I say about this very unique 100% Meunier except Wow!! Gorgeous nose of mixed berries and Meunier fruit, nice chalky seam and minerals to boot. Really enjoyed by Eckler's and us at Churchills with oysters, ceviche and ancient grain spread to start a fabulous meal!!

off list at restaurant. Golden color, bubbles dissipate quickly. Nose golden fruits, hint of honey, brioche, light wax. Palate crisp clear golden fruits, rich body yet good acidity. Very nice, clean and well-balanced, good as an aperitif/with appetizers, still drinking young to my taste. 92 pts

Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery - Aubert, Shafer, Bevan, Sea Smoke, Togni, and more... (Calistoga): Crisp and refreshing, but with that signature Pinot Meunier funkiness that pushed out earthy, saline notes of peach and red apple skin, strawberry seed, watermelon, white stone fruit, and rocky soil. An extra brut dryness on the finish. Medium bodied and fairly rustic, lacking just a bit of depth and complexity overall.

This bottle showed a little more richness than the one from last year. It does have the same zesty, lime and raspberry note yet I found some honeyed edge to it this time, which I liked. It's the same disgorgement of May 2016, and 4 g/l dosage.

Nice wine. Similar to other 100% Pinot Meunier champagnes I've had before -- the fruit and tannin stand out compared to the big house blends. Which is fun for the palate and difference, but IMO not as refined and well balanced. Still... enjoyable.

This drank solid, and met my expectations. While looking like a white wine, plenty of red berry fruit underlines the palate. Lively, fresh, drinking really well.

The nose was rich and floral, with notes of ripe apple. It was spicy on the palate, showing minerals and hints of pear. Unfortunately I found the finish to be odd with notes of moist earth and marine minerality.

At Lindey's. Beautiful light 18k gold, tiny soft bubbles, and totally PM grapes all the way. Savory and underripe red-fruited, dark yeast and a little lactic. Enjoyed equally with seared scallops and roast chicken.
