A very nice bottle, with lots of citrus fruits, and hints of sea salt and brine. Crisp, good acidity, and a short but pleasant after-taste. Just a wonderful lunch wine.

Nice tangy white wine. A bit sour at first, but opened up to a nice drinking white. Very enjoyable and as posted before, is true to the varietal and has a sense of it's home. Drank one about 1 1/2 days ago and it seemed very closed compared to this one. Strong sour apple flavor.

Memories of France are what I am after when I open this wine. A simple vin de table, some sea air tang, and enjoyable with food. This wine fits the bill. The nose is full of sea air/brine. It reminds me of the coastal town in which I was raised. There are secondary wafts of lemon and stone. Light to medium-bodied the flavors are rounded and expressive in the mouth with a tang on the finish. Lemon peel, stone, and grapefruit zing across the palate. Still drinking nicely.

This Muscadet was aged sur lie and, accordingly, has a sort of spritzy texture to it; there aren’t any bubbles, but it’s got a bit of carbon dioxide that makes it jump off the tongue almost like soda. It’s a bit off-dry, but not too sweet; it has a honey scent on the nose, is light-bodied, and is a very drinkable wine. Not much complexity, but it's true to the varietal and is a relative bargain ($10).

$9.34 retail, after discount. Excellent Muscadet. Served with fresh raw and lightly grilled oysters - a near perfect combo with this very typical wine. Nice balance / underlying tension. A sea air / saltiness came out with the oysters. In short, this is what I'm looking for in Muscadet. Great QPR.

Nice citrus flavors reminescant of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Definitely a great value for the #39 wine of 2003.

Not a lot of fruit. Pretty clean. Got oxidized overnight and tasted bad the second day.
