A vaguely white burgey nose of spice (ceylon cinnamon, clove) plus fragrant irises lead to white peach, green almonds and a nice amount of minerality. Finish is somewhat short and hot though.

Diesem Wein muss man etwas Luft geben.

Aroma: almond pit, petrol, yeasted bread. Palate: rich and nutty with notes of wet stone and yeast. Not particularly lengthy or complex. Acceptable but not remarkable.

Almost sweet, well composed. Open 2 hours before - this is important! Almost no aroma - but great mix from minerality at relatively low alcohol level.

Aroma: nuts, minerals, herbs, some apple.
Palate: flinty with grapefruit and herbal flavors. Moderate to high acidity and lots of minerals.

Austrian tasting (San Francisco Wine Trading Company): Citrus, mint, nice balanced nose; palate is light bodied, savory green, nice and interesting. 88

Medium yellow. Some green pea. Light to medium weight, fine feel. Soil and bitter citrus add up to good complexity in this Federspiel weight wine.
