Popped poured and enjoyed over two days. Effusive nose of sweet red fruit which follows through on the palate with a masculine Gevrey texture and more red fruit. The tannin has become fine but still noticeable which tells me that this wine will continue to get better and evolve. Great effort and a delicious wine. The wine hardly budged on day two so I'm guessing this is a 20 year or more village wine. Amazing!

Another really good '15 Gevrey Villages showing really bright and delicious cherry fruit with good acidity that leads to a wonderful mineral crunch on the finish. Succulent and juicy and very drinkable now although I would expect it to improve over the next couple of years. This is balanced and classy and also electric. 90+

Outstanding. Too young. And yet we drank this and would have licked the bottom of the bowls if we could. I know the proper response to Burgundy is to be kind of withholding in your praise, but holy smokes this is good stuff that made me want to say swear words. You should hold onto this for 2-3 years, probably, but if you don't, a decant is crucial. Nice light, floral nose, and then a taste that starts small and ends up with a wave of cranberry and violet before receding something like 30 seconds later with puckering tannins all the way. Went really well with caprese. I truly like this -- it's my first Duroché and it's certainly not going to be my last. Team Duroché!

Nice red fruit on the nose and palate. Bright, with some juiciness. There's a bit of polish on the nose that really shows off the oak. Coarse tannins and a midpalate that feels a bit hollow. Doesn't seem to carry the richness of the vintage.
Initially showed a good bit of oak and spice, but it settled down quickly. Fairly ripe and full-bodied, though at the same time it is fresh and lively. Quite tasty. Good now with a little air. Doesn't strike me as a long term aging candidate, though a few years would probably be beneficial.

A private lunch (Restaurant Florilège **, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan): A very complete and precise wine. Ripe cherries, violets, well integrated spicy oak, nicely concentrated and intense but transparent and elegant, beautifully extracted tannins, ripe but deliciously fresh, youthful charm but with a firm structure, sauvage and cool minerality, slightly tight finish, very good length. Superb Gevrey villlage, good future.

This wine is a staight cherry/raspberry coulis, full bodied with medium lenght; it allies strenght to elegance; good acidity and fresh. Better the second day. It is very young, probably better in few years.

Silky structure, dark and fresh. Black currant and black raspberry, a bit of sous bois, a salty minerality. Very nice and very CdN.

Plush and easy drinking with just enough soil-y and forest-y things to keep things old world. Nice but not exceptional
