My last bottle. This has finally come as round and showed the aromatic side. No longer funky on the nose. Palate is focused and showed concentration. A great Cornas (declassified)!

Barnyard, peppery nose. Palate is dense, lush and full of blue fruit. A lot of sediments. This is a wine that constantly amazes me as a vdf. Drinks like a solid Saint Joseph, but doesn't have the tannic structure of a Cornas.

Had very good weight and structure for an unclassified wine, but also had that sleek and polished feel that I get from his wines (in a good way). Definitely has the sauvage quality of a Cornas but with plenty of red fruit behind it. Absolutely love this producer.

Quite the rustic wine, as you would expect, this has a Cornas-fell with plenty of iron, black fruit and quite massive tannins. Some did not like this - understandable, it's an aquired taste, really. Has the stuffing for ten more years, easily. #Plesner

From memory. Decanted. Dark cherry and tart blackberry fruit, brambles, and earth. Very nice acids and prominent tannins give this wine plenty of structure. Young and a bit simple now. May develop into something more with age. A very nice accompaniment to a ground beef dish with mediterranean spices.

I’d call this wine a tweener as it’s fruit sits well above a general nice Côte du Rhône but lacks complexity of cornas ect. Fruit is dark cherry leaning into blackberry. The wine is really pretty tannic at this point which may be covering some of its eventual charms. A good wine at a fair, not great value that may hold more in the short term future.

Fresh. Light on its feet, with black olive, pepper, and some bacon fat.

Nice acid and tannins but a bit thin.
