  • Light ruby. Cranberry and soil. Medium to light weight. Dry, saline, tart red fruit and earth with only moderate tannin. Excellent village wine that is already starting to drink well.

  • Cranberry and freshly tilled grass and moist soil - amply tart and tannic and each in balance w stuffing.

  • 55F since acquisition at release. Bright ruby red - clean moderate nose of raspberry gelee with fresh flowers and mint. Brisk acids and powder dry tannins will see this one through. No hurry on my remaining bottles.

  • PnP. Rocking and rolling right out of the gate. Integrated tannins and very little oak. Bright fruit and a touch of stem notes. This is in a great place. So crushable.

  • Savory dark berry fruit meets quenching tartness with briary-herbal forest floor and medium tannins. Balanced and very good right now, and years to go of development as well. I’d like to try more from this wine maker.

  • Clear ruby with a slightly watery rim. Rose, cranberry and a somewhat truffled note on the nose that gives way to liquorice and strawberry gummybears on the palate. Medium plus acidity and a gently coating tannin.

  • Medium ruby center. Medium to lighter weight. Strawberry, cherry, and soil in a fine, zesty, savory mix. Terrific village wine already drinking well.

  • Admittedly my fourth bottle of a case within two months. Thought to check in on some lower level 15s while still available at release prices in the market prices. Glad I did. Of course young but 15 is nicely open. A fruit forwardness of red fruits combined with a savoury knack that I often associate with Chambolle. Oak noticeable but seamless and sweet. You could call it a crowd pleaser with enough interest for the oenophile. Just a very good village Chambolle from an underrated producer in a good vintage making for a good combination and great qpr in today's Burgundy world. Bought a second case on the back of that which I will afford some more bottle age as this should be just fine in 5-10 years as well if I can keep my hands off. Recommended. 90+

91 pts

  • Solid and affirmed. This is a beauty in making! While it does offer a lot of drinking pleasure now, the wine's structure is promising to deliver even better in the future. There is poised calmness that satisfies both, the palate and mind. Very lovely!

Dark fruit, liquorice, spices and a hint of new oak in the aromatics as well as the palate, powerful and dense, yet with some elegance and a vibrant energic fruit, average plus length, really good.

  • A bit oaky yet, but this is still a beauty.

  • Deep ruby. A bit reduced, but still shows explosive raspberry and cherry fruit. Big, powerful, and mouth coating for Chambolle, but clearly has more soil and acidic structure than immediately meets the eye. You certainly can't complain about the quality or volume of the fruit.

  • Deep, clear ruby. Ripe cherry and floral notes. Medium but very sappy entry, great depth of fruit cut by enough acidity and a real dollop of soil. Bigger and broader than classic Chambolle but a wonderful, outperforming village wine to enjoy over the next 6 to 8 years. Tangy enough to be refreshing.
