Giant Wine Sale & Tasting 5/7/2011 (Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC): Took this to a friends house, already chilled, and enjoyed it early on a Sunday afternoon. This is very smooth and easy drinking. It is slightly sweet, and reminds me of strawberry Kool Aid we had as kids, before artificial sweeteners. Very pure strawberry flavors, and some cherry. Small active bubbles bring it into the palate. The adequate acid cleanses while the fruit does it's thing. Then we have a fairly sweet finish. That's all, this stuff could get addictive.

Last time (see previous note) I thought this was a great QPR--complexity starting with tart pink grapefruit and finishing with dry minerality. This time I liked it again. A solid QPR. Would recommend to fans of simple sparklers that are terroir driven. Paired with a strawberry salad starter and chocholate strawberry dessert.

Very pink, strawberry milkshake color. Creamy raspberry flavor. It's dry but not excessively so. This is simple wine and very enjoyable. This would be a great wine to serve before a party with light snacks (although I'm not sure how it would go with cheese).

Nice, pink color. I caught a hint of sweetness when I first opened the bottle, but this sparkling wine was nice and dry after the first taste. The wine has nice bubbles and acidity but was slightly heavier than some other sparkling wines. I will probably buy again.

Strawberry-sweet, pink, and sparkly, and eminently drinkable with apps on a warm summer evening.

Strawberry on the nose but not overly sweet. Chalk on finish without bitterness.
Surprised with this sparkler for $10. Would buy again.
