Bright pale golden straw, energetic bubbles which receded to fine bead, fine medium mousse. Apples, citrus, lively acidity but not overpowering, slight leees qualities, not overly complex, some nougat and creaminess, would be good with scallops I think. Second glass I felt there was a little tart acidity on the finish. All in all a decent of not amazing champagne.

Bright lime pith and sweet citrus florals. Brioche toast. Rich, bright, crisp, stroopwaffle, nutty roasted cashew and hazelnuts. Long clean minerality, lovely clarity and balance. Not exactly complex, but paired perfect with our yumcha items! Good value.

Lemon, toast, fine brioche, hints of honey aromas. Medium aroma intensity but not overly complex and deep. Very fine bubbles, very charming and round. Medium+ long and good finish. The extraordinary balance is the clear highlight here. A crowd-pleaser with a very good quality-price-ratio (not considered for the score). Needed a bit of air to fully show its charms. I guess with some more years of bottle age it could gain considerable depth, which could eventually making it something even better.

BBQ Wine Tasting at friends (Zurich): Pale yellow, straw like colour. A dry Champagne with medium+ acidity and medium flavour intentisty and complexity. Citric flavours dominate (lemon, a bit of grapefruit) within a subtle toast and brioche frame. Pleasant, long and very fresh finish. Nothing to complain about.

Fresh, lively nose of green apples - no yeasty, bready notes there. Hints there in the mouth, though. Mostly ripe fruit flavours, however. Good length and balance. Not up there with the best, but this is a very good Champagne for the price.

Well. This bottle not remotely as complex and wonderful as previous. No disgorgement date to compare. Still quite lovely, but different. More of a BdeB feel.

From a half. Quite bold and vinous - certainly Grower feeling. Reasonably ripe apple with pear, some hints of redder fruit, pronounced biscuit (from the Meunier perhaps) and a solid feeling chalkiness to the finish. This showed well, not subtle but q impressive. ***(1/2)

(JM's Lamb Plov) (~2018) lemon curd, some development. Soft toasty brioche and croissant, nutty. Creamy, with more yeast.

Fair bit of evolution since last bottle in 2017 - rich apple, dough and pastry, again not subtle but deep and enjoyable ***+

Citrussy, lean, easy to drink. Classic profile without too many dimensions.

Rather lovely champagne. Fine mousse, good complexity and length. Some green apple but also fresh bread. Charming and an utter bargain at the price.
