150 pounds a bottle? Ludicrously overpriced. A very average wine for the money. Nothing particularly objectionable but nevertheless a triumph of brand over substance. Good luck to PYCM if he can charge these prices.
At 2 years old this was fresh and full of lemon and flint. At 5 years old there is a prevalent tropical note and leas lemon. Still has great acid but a more round fruit profile

PnP from a too-cold fridge was akin to biting into a green lime or the salty first sip of a Margarita. Broadened out a little over the evening and next day but hard work compared to the delightful 2015. I'll give it time.

There's a touch of flint and something lactic but this is a wine of tremendous fruit purity. At its heart is a huge squeeze of lemon. It is direct, linear and the finish is strewn with minerals.

Bone dry. Lemon posset, vanilla and some almond. Very enjoyable.

This is very impressive for $30. Lots of depth for an Aligote. Typical PYCM lemony flinty goodness.

Reductive/flint, very mineral, hint of herbs (tarragon). Good acid and lift, citrus on the palate. Wonderful stuff at a decent price.
