And a little bit more green and crisp on palate, and nose. And tigher on the palate. Just one village, Vernay, and just one harvest '17, and disgorged in '21. THey own 16 hectares of a single estate. And Champagne this is demeter certified and organic. All about the place and time instead of the black, which is about the creation and craftsman ship. 6 grams, dosage but it feels lower.

Very beautiful. Dry and crisp (on a note to previous comments it is extra brut and there is hardly any sweetness to it). Lemon, chalk and minerals. A bit of apple, pear and floral notes on the nose. A very good wine.

The grapes are sourced from the Malmaison Estate in the Vallée de la Marne. A blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. First time having the Green Label. Light yellow color. Fine bead. This was a very well balanced sparkler with notes of citrus, chalk and lemon peel. Plus acidity. Really nice non vintage. 91 points.

Pale yellow-gold with green tint with vigorous bubbles. Citrus, green apple, tangerine peel, dried apricot, hazelnut, almond, faint oak, honeycomb, white flowers, thyme, white mushroom and minerality. Fresh and energetic. Complex and balanced. Wine on the sweeter side.
Looking at the label with block letters "MADE WITH ORGANIC GRAPES", I couldn't help but to think that this bottle might be specially marketed for the USA market, where general consumers have a sweeter palate.
I would prefer the less sweet version. However, this could be an after dinner bottle with dessert.

Green apples, stonefruit, minerals, and yeast infuse the nose. Crisp, fresh, very energetic, with a miniscule bead, and an impressive backbone of depth and complexity. Wet stone minerality etches the palate-cleansing finish.

This pours medium yellow in the glass with light effervescence. The nose is appealing, complex, and aromatic showing white flowers, vanilla wafer, toffee, honey, candied lemon, fresh baked croissant. The palate rich and round showing the vanilla wafer, lightly off dry character, and a lengthy finish replaying light whisps of honey and toffee. Really nice stuff and very much in my wheelhouse.

100% Bio-Organic, 50%PN,30%PM, 20%CH 6g/l dos 2015 base...this one grew on me as it opened...crystalline pear, peach skin, apple fruits...smoky flint strike, lees nuance, crushed saline minerality...creamy and somewhat sweetened, yet nice tart streak of lemon squeeze and green apple skin...bubbles dissipate fairly quickly...soft cookie crust mousse...finishes refreshingly simple and easy going, yet pleasing, with pretty florals and a Chablis like sea air funk and chalky limestone crunch. Nice wine, but nothing really exciting for me...other than the highly applauded farming practices.

Rich yellow color. The nose pops with green apples and lemons, chalk dust, honeysuckle along with limestone and sea salt. Crisp and fresh with green apples, lemons, along with graham cracker, honey and some chalky, flinty elements. Delightful, accessible, a fun, fresh, quite complex mix of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.

(disgorged Feb 2017) These bottles are coming along really nicely. Racy, organic, very interesting and great poise. It feels that ageing them a few years did the wine well as it is now much better than last year (when it was a bit too nervous). I really like the poise here. 91-92

A very light and crisp style champagne. A bit watery and citrusy with crisp lemon and apple elements. Perhaps a bit lacking on the finish which at this price you can find better value.

This is bone-dry and not very fruity, but lively acidic, elegant and balanced. The flavor palette includes e.g. whitecurrant and lemon. You do not find here the stealy character of Lanson Black Label Brut, since the nature of the wine is gentler. All in all, I liked this wine a lot, and it provides a good value for money.

Had a couple of glasses of this at 67 PM. Really nice surprise. I read this is a new cuvee and this particular first release tranche is based on 2012 base wine (in fact I think this is a 2012 vintage champagne just not declared as such). It is quite a full bodied champagne, with a complex nose with detectable well integrated oak, hazelnuts. With some air and temperature becomes really expressive. Fine mousse, well balanced. Top notch really. You can just taste that the underlying materials have been some really good grapes. For a sensible price well worth seeking out and I would imagine that although drinking well now should also age for a couple more years into something even more special. Well done Lanson!

Its good. Very clean, fresh and precise. A little tight for my liking. The black label is more charming and easy going.

Bright gold robe.
3 shafts Pinpoint perlage; discrete mousse.
Aromas of Marzipan, rusk, white chocolate, wild strawberries.
Vivid acids, lemon zest, crisp apple notes. Exquisite.

Oxidative Noten im Vordergrund, schon etwas unbalanciert, lässt die Lanson typische Frische vermissen.

Copper in colour, drinking like a BDN. Probably not quite at the level I had this down when tasted a year or so ago but still a lovely NV.
