Nice dark hue. Extracted black fruits, sap, good tannins and a high (uncontrolled for me) amount of alcohol. Acceptable length, obvious fruit core, carignan do the work. The balance on heat will not improve, the tannins will, the rate won't. Keep two years max. This note is now re-edited after retasting (9/9/2018), perhaps this early taste was reflecting a wine not yet stable, for sure it shows my unexperiment.

Bordeaux Glass
Leslee: This is a more serious Cotes du Rhone. Earthy, meaty, bit of leather + spice.
