This E.T. is from a lovely vintage and the fruit still shines through. The peach flavors (apricot?) come through nicely on the pallet. It has a bit of toastiness on the exhale. Interestingly, the yeast is light for a wine that spent 10 years on the lees. The color is as fresh as the fruit, and some age driven figgy undertones last long. Truly a lovely wine.

Delphine returns to the USA (at least for a little while): Sometimes life throws you a soft pitch that you can knock out of the park....this was one of those moments, not because the wine was so exceptional, but because typically, I go to my cellar only to find the wine I selected to drink is no longer there because I forgot to remove it from cellar tracker after pulling the bottle....in this case, just the opposite! I actually found a bottle I forgot to log into cellar tracker! OK....I need to get to the actual note!
This was a very nice sparkling wine, especially for Oregon! The nose showed yeasty and stone fruit, with a hint of burnt toast. The palate followed suit with bread, stone fruit, citrus (lemon) and limestone. A very nice and certainly serviceable sparkling wine that can hold its own with many Champagnes. 92+ for me!

Tastes of dried tropical fruits, Pineapple and mango. Hints of bread crumbs a toasted sourdough bread. The bubbles hit you and fill your hole mouth with an explosion of flavor. Long finish. This was a wonderful sparkling wine and opened up my eyes to Oregon sparkling wine.

Piercing, vivacious, and steely. Reminiscent of high quality sparking Loire Chenin Blanc. All elements technically excellent. None too good QPR though.

63% Chardonnay and 37% Pinot Noir barrel fermented and aged 10 years en Tirage. 8g/L dosage. The nose is wonderfully fresh and not showing the maturity one would expect. Aromas reveal notes of white flowers, citrus zest, green apple, oyster shell and chalk before giving way to notes of golden fig, quince and bergamot. The more autolytic notes surprisingly are more subdued but show notes of proofed dough, biscuit and almond. The palate retains freshness and tension. High, almost austere, acidity. Dry and crisp with tiny pinprick bubbles are full on the attack. Flavors unpack to reveal notes of green apple, lemon-lime, bergamot and quince accompanied with a mineral-like presence, oyster shell, white flowers, almond, dough and biscuit. The mineral laced finish is exceptionally dry.

Light yellow, plentiful small bubbles , brioche nose, apple predominantes, citrus, marzipan, buttered toast and crisp creamy clean finish. They have modified the style over the last few years to be less earthy and more citrus.

Love this juice, grab at least 3 bottles every time it is offered. This vintage did not disappoint. Bright and crisp on the palate, tiny bubbles that go on forever. Another strong showing that was liked by all in my group.

I took this th Mon Ami Gabi for brunch today. I was meeting and treating clients in town from AK would like Oregon wines. This bottle was drinking in a fine spot and was pretty ideal for outside brunch fare. Clients were delighted as was I! Kudos.

Good but just night and day different from the Rollin Soles era. No oak. No molasses and deep apple. This is opposite end of the spectrum. All light tart apple and yellow fruit. Still delicious

DenTinJaMa Inaugural (Chateau Lyon): More fruit than finesse with pear, apple and lemon notes. Medium bubbles and modest toast. Really good length and still drinking great after 3 hours at room temp.

Delicious chard-PN blend. Dry tart, better fruit than most Champagne and is an Oregon bubbly. Enjoyed with family over Christmas Eve dinner with all the trimmings.

This is consistent, citrus , tart, very subtle toast and vanilla, maybe even watermelon, and seems to me to be stylistically different i.e. less oxidative, less brioche and more mainstream citrusy than previous vintages.

Outstanding bottle of bubbles. So precise, elegant and sexy. Beautiful bouquet of citrus, sweet herbs, flowers, honeycomb with limestone and chalk essence. On the palate it's pure and so balanced. Was an amazing pairing with roasted carrots, winter salad and even dumplings with chicken livers.

Light yellow, nice bubbles, this is back to its more rustic, marzipan , baked apple, grilled toast, but packing a citrus punch at the finish. Oregon's Krug styled bubbly.

Kicked off dinner at Zest with great friends/clients. Beautiful stuff that everyone really enjoyed. I only have one more, probably will try to cellar for a while... we will see how that works out

Argyle's Extended Tirage has never disappointed and this vintage is no different. Drinking well now. Deep and nuanced while also smooth and very pleasant. Excellent!

Very delicious champenois wine with a fresh mature flavor with many years left. It was perfect with foi gras before Easter dinner.

Rich, complex, with some yeast and toast on the nose and apple on the palate. Drinking well and still has plenty of time to age.

Good but not as good as the 2003. Bright and crisp but shorter finish. Still a very nice effort.
