Ruby red core with a clear edge. Wow. The aromatics on this are stunning. Dried cranberry, black cherry, blackberry, strawberry, a touch of eucalyptus, clove and forest floor. The palate is juicy with vibrant acidity, intense fruit, light tannin and an impressively long finish. This has always been a great wine but it is really coming into its own. Enjoy now for a perfect Anderson Valley Pinot Noir experience. Hold to see what the limits could be!

Nose is sweet-savory with raspberry liqueur, tree bark, unripe blackberry, redcurrant, and a touch of smokiness. Palate has juicy high acid for days and great texture and concentration throughout, more smoky fruit, a little licorice and a toasted cinnamon-scotch note right at the end. Black tea. Finishes very clean and focused. Plenty of stuffing but well restrained and very pretty. Superb. For my palate drinking very nicely now but plenty ahead of it. Acid may be too high for some. 14.4%, $70
I really appreciate this style of Pinot. It’s very lean on the extraction. Burgundian in style. Bright fruits, perfect round acidity, delicate earth and elegantly polished. The style reminds me of Toby Bekker’s wines made from Grenache and or Syrah in McLaren Vale, Australia
The nose is very feminine. Beautiful, bright red & blue floral fruits. Leaner, ripe; black cherries, blackberries, strawberries, blue fruits, touch of plum and cranberries. Vanillin, light cinnamon, touch of clove and light medium spice with blue and red florals.
The body & texture are splendid...so soft, delicate and light. Beautifully elegant. The acidity is as perfect as it gets. Bright red & blue floral fruits. Leaner, ripe; black cherries, blackberries, strawberries, amazing blue fruits, touch of plum and cranberries. Vanillin, light cinnamon, touch of clove and light medium spice with blue and red florals. The leaner, well stylized finish is amazingly beautiful. It’s a wow! Walks the line of Burgundy with the brightness of CA Pinot fruits.

Very enjoyable, but a bit light bodied and "thin" for me.
