Popped and poured. Fresh medium red. Very forward, floral nose with ripe, crunchy raspberry fruit in the nose. Wild berry all over the shop. Candy-like, ethereal. Palate strikes one with strong, bracing acidity on entry--but not overly aggressive. Very warm, mellow, sweet fruit that flows beautifully over the palate. Quite high-toned, almost an effervescent quality. Not exactly your text book Beaujolais; I'm not sure what to make of it, as it lacks depth/body. Certainly would complement food of the right sort, but I'm not sure it will please Beaujolais purists. 5-12-15-7: 89/100.

First night, after a decant and c.1hr of air, was a little sweet, and mono dimensional. Second night, really elegant, little fruit, but quite pinotised.

Translucent purple. Swaths of red berry, rose petal, black earth, mineral notes. Light and sexy, no tannins, strong acidic backbone. Good fruit, long finish. Great.

The first two bottles I drank of this one were a disappointment. This bottle was reasonably good. More going on.......fruity and dark. The bottle was open for about one and a half hours.

Opened and decanted 30-min ahead of grilled balsamic and herb chicken. Cloudy purple-violet. The nose was mute but brought some forest floor, cloves, wild berries, and lingering candied cherry blossoms. The palate is medium, square, crunchy, and compact, bringing a hard frame of dark black berries and rhubarb mixed with red currant, pomegranate, cloves, and hints of orange peel into the finish. Will be best 2022-2030. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 90.

Wow, first evening ok, some fruit, gentle and nothing wrong, but not much going on. Hiding for now, as I concluded last encounter as well. On the third day however, half of the bottle came to live, and came together, with delicate tickling cherry fruit and midpalate right there, and I did not mind it being warmed up to room temperature neither. I have read that Guy Breton does not like / tries to avoid tannins. This has a structure leaning on its acidity, to make it a seriously delicious wine for the next years.

So pure, intense cherry and minerals. Didn’t have the depth or complexity of the Metras, but wonderful on its own terms. Great acid and verve. Very fresh and fun, loved it with a slight chill.

Superbe fruits rouges , éclatants une touche de poivre un côté terreux . Dans un style similaire à Descombes au fruité plus brillant mais moins de tannins et de structure se boit à merveille le prix n'est pas donné mais a 40 $ le prix me.semble justifié

Very interesting. Extremely light on its feet yet has real depth. Deep core of dark red fruit with high floral notes and a long firm minerality that has serious impact. Needs food and some time.

Uncorked an hour before drinking. It's delicious! Aromas explode out of the glass! Medium-bodied, fairly precise, with nice acidity that calmed with some air and was better with food, but still tasty without. Hints of pomegranate, dried cranberries, Welch's grape juice and damp bark. To be expected, has a lighter mid-palate. Prefer this over a typical village burg. Fair QPR and would probably buy again.

Popped and poured. An excellent Beaujolais. Rich, pretty red ruby. Candied anise nose is quite special. Pure beam of fruit is penetrating and sexy. Lovely, velvety mouth feel. Rich, luxuriant fruit. Hints of Black cherry and earth. Yonge and firm, but drinking really beautifully right now. This is an excellent Beaujolais. Goes down way too easy. 4-13-16-9: 92/100.

Hiding away for now: I was initially muffled trying to pierce the shy dark minerally profile. My bottle did not show much fruit and vibrancy before the last glass, the second day, when the last third was double decanted for 2 hours.

This is a very good wine! It was not decanted, so it was initially tight. About 30 minutes into dinner, it really became expressive on the nose and the palate - cherry and floral on the nose, red fruit dominated with healthy (and appropriate) doses of minerality, acidity and terroir, and a lovely finish. We enjoyed this wine at Chez Fonfon in Birmingham - very good food, great service and a lovely bottle of wine.

Light ruby. You can smell the acid, cranberry, raspberry, rose, pretty and volatile.
High acid, de minimis tannins. Cranberry and racy red fruit. Mineral notes come through in a long berry finish. Thought provoking and fresh.
Drank the same bottle a week ago. One of the most enjoyable I've ever encountered.

Similar to a bottle consumed about a year ago, but a little better. Surprised it is still evolving. Opened for about an hour and a half. No decant.

Nice mild soft strawberry & berry flavors throughout. Decent length with mild tannis present at the end. Nothing special.
