Extreme earthy flavor. At first thought corked but upon further tasting and letting it open we decided it was just very earthy with muted berry and spice.

Typical of Oregon pinot. Difficult showing against a 2006 Kosta Browne, which was much more outgoing. Well made, but missing that "little bit extra" to push it over 90pts.

This is a lean but rich wonderfully complex wine. The nose is fragrant with scents of sweet berries, plums and wildflowers with a hint of oriental spice. The taste is full of complex flavors creating the marriage of berry and cherry flavors with cigarbox and spice with some cinnamon and vanilla. It is a wine you can chew on. It has elegance with breed. This wine should continue to develop over the next two or three years.

Wonderful. The Tasters With Attitude gathered to plan the next Sonoma trip and we treated them with Oregon Pinot Noir. Fruit front, earthy middle with a spice and soft pepper finish. Enjoyed with Joe's pork stew brandied prune and cream stroganoff over egg noodles with fresh baked sourdough bread. Enjoyed this wine behind 2002 Archery Summit Pinot Noir Arcus Estate. We saved the best for last.

Loads of sour cherry, raspberry with carmel. No discernible tannins, this was decanted briefly. While it continued o open during our hour with it, as we finished there was a tartness and flatness shown. Very nice, elegant though not outstanding.

Cherry on the nose, smooth and delicious flavors. Excellent finish. Could use longer in the bottle. Let it stand for about an hour to hour and a half before we drank it. Excellent with prime rib and turkey.

Light tannin at first, much better with meal. Cherry, clean, a little barnyard on the nose. Janet thought a little thin. Long finish, drank too early, will be looking to purchase a case.

Thanksgiving Weekend in Willamette; 11/26/2004-11/28/2004: Tasting at winery. Somewhat simple and moderate red fruit with little nuance or complexity. Moderate length, this probably won't put on good weight so will be a young drinker, probably 2006-2009.

Two Days in Willamette; 4/22/2004-4/23/2004 (Willamette Valley OR): Tasting at winery. Good aromas to start with good black cherry but a bit dominated by new oak. Fruit less forthcoming on palate. Give this some time in cellar, but not my favorite wine in the lineup for its price.
