Decanted for half hour after passing through an aerator. Wonderful! I used the comments from others to dictate how I prepared to drink the wine. Thank you!

Stunning wine! So complex and multi-layered. A real treat! Been waiting to try this wine...definitely worth it! Superbe ! Délicieux maintenant !

Garnet color with a tinge of brickyards at the edges. Blackberry nose with a touch of hotness. Full body and fruit on the palate but some bitterness. Finish is rough but of medium length. Not over the hill at all but not my favorite.

Not necessarily the most complex but nicely balanced. Generic red fruit nose and palate in a mid bodied offering. Garnet colour and a medium to longish finish. Full value for the $50 price tag. Drinking well right now.

Wonderful full nose of chocolate. Slightly acidic with smooth integrated tannins in a mid to full body. Pronounced black fruit palate with a lingering acidic finish.

No question this wine is enjoyable but once you apply the local price it is not a compelling value buy. Up here in Canuckistan, it’s the equivalent of USD47. It’s well-made, it was more enjoyable the next day but I fear it doesn’t have the legs for long life. This is made with a lot of oak and a melange of grapes. If you can find this closer to USD30 than it is pretty good. The hunt continues for very good Chilean QPR. At least up here in the quasi-monopoly liquor retail zone.

WS Grand Tour in NYC (Marriott Marquis): Again more of an easy drinker. A winery we wanted to visit when we were in Chile, but they were closed because of a holiday. Slightly sweet fruit. But good.

Drank over two nights Medium burgundy in colored, and body Vanilla, cedar, dirt road. Much different than night one. More dark fruit then. Punchy on first sip. Lots of tannin balanced with notable acidity. Dark berries. Medium finish. Definitely different characteristics than on night one. Possibly a window into the ageing outcome of this wine. I actually like the youthful characteristics from night one ( lots of big fruit, some cedar and vanilla). Very New World. Night two the Carmenere really showed itself. This is a very good bottle for the price point. I'm looking forward to trying their flagship wine.

James Suckling - Great Wines of the Andes (The Presidio, SF): (cab, carm. cf, merlot, syrah) Dark aromatics of coffee, liquorice, blackberry, slight raisination. Slight pyrazines. Rich. Slight bruised apple oxidation. This wine seems to be tiring.

Very nice. Would definitely hold its own amidst a lineup of similarly priced Bordeaux.

Bu en Succ lors des nouveaux arrivages.
Profile moderne, gros fruit avec peu d`acidité.
Souple et un peu bonbon.
Finale longue sur les poivrons.

The nose and mouth are dominated by concentrated cassis, soft, candy, elderberry, a firm bitter touch at the end of the middle part
