In Hawaii. This has aged phenomenally. Bright cherry, wild mushrooms, some rhubarb. Nice chambolle texture. Probably would have been better a few years ago, but still drinking really well.

Very shiny and polished, forward, tasty fruit but not enough place/earth, unlikely to improve/change. Enjoy for what it is - ripe Pinot at half the price and more character than CA. Doesn't taste of Chambolle but of ripe Pinot.

Another rich, smooth, fruit forward wine which has decent structure, still very young..but lacking in complexity. This was especially obvious when tasted beside some very nice contemporaries such as Roumier, Ponsot, Trapet, etc,..

High-toned nose of cherries and strawberries. Palate has some nice chalky minerality but is slightly watery. This one did go downhill after a couple hours in the glass with the palate turning harshly astringent.

Beautiful nose of rose, cherries and wet stones. Excellent balance and a surprisingly good palate follow through (no disconnect here). Feminine but sturdy, ripe yet light. I really enjoyed this bottle and would put the $40 tag right at the upper limit for this wine...at least for me. This is open and expressive. I kept going back for another sniff. I think I will have one more glass - hell why not, it's Saturday.

fairly well balanced, although still on the modern, fruity side. much better balance than many of that style. not enough appreciable terroir for my tastes.

Our Leo's dinner December-ish 2015. Quite delicious but far from ready. The burg-heads in the group loved it blind. Soft and elegant, very smooth.

This is a very pretty wine in the context of what it is. True to Chambolle.

Entering peak time to drink. Nice balance. However, lacking in complexity. Still an enjoyable wine with medium body.
