95 on the nose. 92 on the palate. I'm very partial to old vines and these showed great on the nose. I also enjoyed the sweet 2015 tropical fruit notes. I would probably sit on these longer if you have them, but the nose right now makes them so enticing.

The first bottle was slightly corked (good customer service here from L&W to replace it!). The second was clean and it was a good Puligny for the vintage. That being said didn't exactly set the world on fire either. Quite clean, some bright lemon fruit. Could have done with a bit more intensity / richness. But a good quaffer with the coq au vin.

Light yellow. Tart lemon flavors, though with a bit of roundness creeping in. Falls right in between the toe ends of the spectrum from the recent ‘13 Lamys have had...ie not as laser focused and precise as the best ones, but not as tropical as the weakest. Good wine that feels representative of the vintage, though not as good as the ‘14 and not one that will make old bones.

White Burg village night in the neighbourhood. Tasted semi-blind. 1 hour of air in bottle. Tasted over the next 2 hours. Drank in Zalto Universal. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, shy medium intensity, with aromas of matchstick blowing off, flinty minerality, white florals, citrus lemon, bits of honey oil with more air. Developing. On the palate, dry, crisp high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon, green limes, flinty minerality, some deep honey lemon oil giving this a bit more weight with more air. Medium+ finish going long towards the 2 hour mark. Good quality. Not in a good place at the moment, could be just tight. Tough to guess this blind. Didn't really point to any particular appellation. Conservative score for now. I will try to re-explore this again later on day 2. Retasted remainder under vacuum seal on day 3: opened up into additional salty limestone minerality and weightier lemon curd fruit. Yummy lip smacking aicidty and mouth-feel. Stronger performance! Up 1 more point. This old vines just needs more time to blossom I think.

Nose: The Nose Is impeccably balanced and fresh, filled with white peaches, pears, candied apples, white florals, vanilla, spearmint, baking spices, and a touch of tropical citrus.
Taste: Medium/full bodied with refreshing and youthful medium+ acidity. There is a small bit of youthful sting from the acidity, but the feel is plush and elegant with white peaches, pears, candied apples, vanilla, baking spices, and a touch of spearmint.
Overall: This is a youthful and well balanced Puligny-Montrachet. The fruit favors the white spectrum with some juiciness to it. This needed about an hour’s worth of air to fully get going and it was expressive and giving once that happened. A few years could be of a benefit for this, but it can also be drunk now to enjoy the freshness it brings.

This had nice lift and cut for a 2015. Typical lamy style with plenty of rocky chalky minerals and good mid-palate concentration. Hedonists at Connie and Rays.

La Paulée de San Francisco - Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. Floral and spice aromas with ripe apple and pear. Similar flavors are also ripe, with very bright textures. Good+ weight and length. Brighter vs most 2015s.
