Dark deep purple. Mushroom soy sauce and blackberry on the nose. Blackberry blueberry touch of smoke and coffee on the palate. Guessed new world and Shiraz.
Very nice and with some elegance. Fifth favourite of the night (out of five) as just not my style and would be hard to have more than one glass.

Mid-red. Some sediment on the decant. Classic Barossa Shiraz. Christmas pudding, plums, ripe red fruit on the nose. Still relatively balanced. A typical and classic expression of the style.

Depending on taste it is either a bit over the top or perfectly right. Acid was at a comfortable level, a lot of fruit and a bit of aging. I would recommend to drink it now for those who still have some left.

Big, bold, structured and with a heap of pepeper. This has been fairly tannic and alcoholic, but now starting to integrate. This bottle was 90min double decanted and showed there was ample structure - lovely acidity to offset the deep sweetness and tanins compliment the fruit. Will be at peak in 2yrs and last another 5 easily. Enjoyable albeit tiring to drink - some blueberry and floral perfume but pretty much a blackberry spice box bomb without too much else other than a nice richness.

Gorgeous garnet colour. Nose still vibrant but fruit has softened and stewed somewhat in aroma Sharp current flavours and rich red cherries. Spice is still nicely pronounced Finish isn't overly long but still very full bodies. Full mouth feel

Big brooding Barossa Shiraz. Massive forward dark fruit, mocha, dark chocolate and leather. Just enough tannin remaining to carry the alcohol into a lovely mouth coating long finish.

Dark garnet color. Aromas of dark fruit and alcohol. Blackberry flavor dominates - but not jammy, with white pepper and earth. Nice balance with decent finish. Ready.

Pretty dark garnet color with nice legs. Medium body on tongue with earth, dark fruit, prune-plum flavor, cedar and some tannin. Chewy and likely to soften with additional aging.

Dark garent color with nice long legs and a medium body. Dark fruit with some plum, cedar and earth. Perhaps a slight undertone of mint. Medium long finish with some tannin but not very pronounced. Please wine which may improve overnight.

Poured at a retailer tasting. Inky garnet color. Notes of plum, dark fruit, brown sugar and fresh mint. Flavors of blueberry, dark fruit and cedar/wood notes. Chewy tannins, and a slightly earthy undertone. Nice.

Decanter New World Fine Wine Encounter (The Landmark Hotel, London): Deep and impenetrably black core. Attractive, typically Shiraz nose with a hints of oak. The palate shows complex cassis, oak and spice. Concentrated and balanced, but let down by the rapidly fading finish.

Spicy, mouthfilling. just old enough for secondary notes to fight off the receding gobs of fruit. Plenty of life ahead before the leathery phase
